Tuneman, if you didn't read Marc L record yesterday, here is update for today. He lost with Phx Suns.

Record 36-17, 28-16 and 5-9 run.

Play On: Toronto Raptors +7.5 (Angle: I would buy to +8)

Note: The Raptors host the super-hot Heat north of the border Sunday in a desirable winning situation for Toronto. That's because Miami enters off a 13-point revenge win at Milwaukee, with another revenge affair up next tomorrow night at Boston.

With the Raptors 8-2 ATS the last ten as home dogs of 4 or more points, the points become the play here today.

I don't have breakdown except I know they are all basketball plays. I didn't keep track by NCAA or NBA as I did with the tweets. It would take too much time to go back and do that.

Even though he is 5-9 in the last 14, as you can see playing every play has still been profitable for me. That 5-9 is included in the 36-17 and 28-16 run. The 5-9 is pulling the win percentage down in both of them.

At 36-17 is a higher winning % than 28-16 and obviously 5-9 is a losing %. So the % was better in the past.

If somebody has not been playing his plays and wants to start, that is why I show the overall record since I started tracking and then the recent runs.

Denver is coming off an 87-80 home win over Memphis on Friday. The Nuggets have won 11 straight, but with a tough game tomorrow night in Oklahoma City, I simply can't see how the they won't be caught looking ahead to that one.

Chicago is coming off a momentum building 113-95 win at Golden State on Friday. It snapped a two-game slide.

Note that Denver is 45-22 overall, but just 15-19 SU away from friendly confines.

Note that Chicago is 36-29 SU overall, and 18-14 in front of the home town crowd.

These teams played on February 7th, and the Nuggets would win 128-96 in Denver, making the "revenge factor" a significant angle tonight. I believe there are overwhelming factors working in favor of the home side to warrant it a second look in this matchup.

Charlotte Bobcats (+7) over the Washington Wizards. The Bobcats are showing solid value tonight at the Time Warner Cable Arena. This line is way off. For starters, the Wizards are just 5-25 on the road (16.666 winning %). That number is even worse than the Bobcats home record of 8-24 (or 25%). Charlotte gets outscored by an average of 6.7 PPG at home, but Washington gets outscored by an average of 8 PPG on the road. Plus, the Bobcats should be more motivated for this contest. In their last meeting, the Wizards embarrassed them by 17 points at the Verizon Center. Before that, Charlotte had won two straight in this series. It's one thing to continuously lose to much better teams, that are supposed to beat you. It's quite another to lose to one of the NBA's other bottom dwellers on your home court. The home team has won 3 of the last 4 meetings, both straight-up and against the spread. And Washington is 0-4 ATS in their last 4 road games against a team with a losing home record.

I'm going to hold my nose and take Cha +7 all the early action is trying to knock it down to +6. Could be the right side.

The Atlanta Hawks are easily in the playoffs in the East, but that doesn't mean they are content with their current position. It's possible they could find themselves in a tie for fourth place in the East with a win tonight... and if they win they'll cover the three points.

Atlanta (37-29) is currently sitting in 5th place in the conference, a comfortable 11 1/2 games in front of the 8th place teams (Toronto and Philly) with 16 to go.

With a three-game homestand looming and a much-needed 12-point road win at Brooklyn Sunday (Brooklyn sitting in 4th place right now), the Hawks not only have a chance to tie tonight but actually take sole possession with two wins in a row. Brooklyn opens an eight-game road trip at Detroit tonight.

Atlanta last beat Dallas a month ago, 105-101, when Al Horford had 21 points on 10-of-14 shooting, while adding 10 boards, three steals and two blocks. Josh Smith had 26 points, 13 rebounds and six assists in that meeting. 

Dallas's playoff hopes fell hard last night vs. OKC, losing another close game in which they had the lead several times but blew it down the stretch. It's not looking good, as Dallas is 11th in the conference, four games back of the Los Angeles Lakers for the eighth and final position.

(OKC scored the final 6 points to break a tie and win by 6 on Sunday and Dallas may not have much left in the tank. On their last B2B against Cle, they trailed going into the 4th Q and Cleveland fell apart and Dallas covered by 1 point luckily at garbage time.)

ORLANDO +11 (fading team playing 4th game in 5 days)

The Pacers will have a tough time running away with this one given their level of fatigue. This is their second game in as many nights and their fourth in five days. A matchup with lowly Orlando isn’t likely to get the juices flowing. So with a two-day break following this game, don’t be surprised if the Pacers start their break early. The Magic were blown out 115-86 by the Pacers Mar. 8, but keep in mind that that game came directly after they lost to the Miami Heat on a last-second shot. They clearly hadn’t let that one go. The wins haven’t been piling up but Orlando has quietly taken its level of play up a notch, as evidenced by the fact it has covered the spread in 5 of its last 7 games. It is a perfect 6-0 ATS in its last 6 road games with a pair of wins and narrow defeats to top-notch competition like the Grizzlies and Heat. The Magic are 20-11 ATS as a road underdog this season. Take the points.

It was a gift, that Saint Mary's got invited to the dance. They got their guts torn out by Gonzaga and weaknesses appeared in their game.

And while everyone might think the favorite in this one is right play doesn't know much about basketball. Why do you think so many thought a nationally ranked team needed to beat Gonzaga to get into this event? Out of 68 teams, don't you find it strange St. Mary's (a team ranked in one of the Top 25 polls just a week ago) is in a pigtail game outside the big bracket?

I'm much more intrigued by the Middle Tennessee State Blue Raiders, who is back in the big tournament for the first time in 24 years. MTSU has the most wins in program history (28) and is tied with the sixth-most wins in the country. And the talent on this team starts at the top. Kermit Davis was named the Sun Belt's Coach of the Year for the second straight season, while Bruce Massey is the Defensive Player of the Year while he also earned third-team all-conference honors. Marcos Knight was named to the first team and Raymond Cintron to the third team.

Most impressively is that Middle Tennessee's 11 road wins are third-most in the country, so playing tonight's game in Dayton, Ohio will not be an issue. The Blue Raiders currently rank 11th nationally in scoring margin (13.5), 15th nationally in scoring defense (57.8) and 19th in 3-point field goal percentage defense (.296).

The hype might be around St. Mary's, but my money is on Middle Tennessee State
