For the last 10 plays of The Grand Challenge, I've been using a set of filters in the selection process to exclusively make the final selection.
This set of filters has helped me to cut my work time in half (at least). I can quickly eliminate games and get to the best ones much faster.
Oh BTW, this process has gone (7-3) over the last 10 plays.
Once I get down to just a handful of potential plays. The filters once again can step in and help me get to my final selection.
Let's look at today's pending play.
My Power Total is (148). Thats right in line with what I look for, as my pending wager is Jacksonville Over 139. So I have my required 5pts difference in my Power Total and the books posted total.
Once I have this, I ran the final set of filters and this play rated very high. Lets say on a scale of (1-8) it scores a (7). This should make this a very strong play.
But I will add this, I was disappointed in that NFL play last night. It rated as a strong play but it lost. I'd like to lay that on wind conditions but I think it was simply a loss. The book just beat me there.
I don't know yet how the set of filters will affect my win percentage. For now I'm standing by my (57.14%) Winners but my hopes are high that this set of Mathematical filters will improve on that. Fingers are really crossed here.
Now, there is an NBA game tonight that is setting up as a potentially strong play. If we don't get alot of line movement before I can bet it. And I cannot bet it until our pending play ends.
So as soon as our pending play goes final, check back for this potentially strong NBA play tonight. I'm on stand by myself. I'm trying to be true to The Grand Challenge.
My next question, can this set of filters raise my win percentage and if so, by how much. The start for these filters is (7-3). I do think i was robbed on that Titans Over yesterday but I have to let that go.
I'll be here for 2 more weeks, plenty of time to see how the filters are going to alter our overall win percentage.
Have a good day gentlemen. I'm just sitting around, working on a few things but I'm available for questions or comments via PM or email.
