I was pounding the table when odds were 10/1 on Bruins. They got just the matchup they wanted by tanking last 2 games of season to avoid Tampa Bay. They swept Toronto on the season and have owned them the last few playoffs series. They tanked to get these cupcakes and they will take Game 1 at home in solid fashion!
I have a future from earlier in the season for the Bruins to win the East. They have the better goaltending and defense by far but you have to be very weary of a LAFFS team that is improving the past few years and can score in droves.
I think the oddsmakers have it right with this series being priced very close. It behooves me why the Laffs will not concentrate on goaltending and defense more...they would be a legit cup contender IMO.
