For bookies, I was always told it's easiest to find someone local. I'd recommend finding looking for a forum more tailored to your geographic residence. If not, seems like BlB is the move.
For something more decentralized, I've recently been betting on Aver Exchange (Decentralized sports betting exchange on Solana), was very solid during the World Cup but I'm a bit biased as I'm a bit of a crypto degen.
