1. The season long non-refundable entry fee is $1,500.00. Entries accepted starting July 1, 2015. All contestants and proxies must be at least 21 years old. 2. Each contestant, identified by social security number, may submit up to two entries. Each entry shall be treated as a separate entry for all purposes, including prize distribution. The Westgate SuperBook reserves the right to approve all aliases (limited to 20 characters). 3. PRIZE STRUCTURE 100% of entry fees paid out. All percentages based on entry fees. See reverse side for payout chart. Actual cash prizes will be based on total number of entries and may be different based on respective places, as set forth in rule 20. 4. The Westgate SuperBook shall offer a $15,000 early sign-up bonus. Those who enter on or before 4:00PM Monday, September 7 th will be eligible to compete in a three week mini contest (the final three weeks of the pro football regular season). The entry selecting the most winners over the final three weeks of the season will win the aggregate $15,000 prize, which is provided by the Westgate SuperBook and does not come out of the entry fees. Ties will be divided equally. 5. The Westgate SuperBook shall offer a $15,000 aggregate bonus to the entry that selects 67% (or better) winners for the entire season. Ties (pushes) will be disregarded in figuring win percentage for this bonus prize. This cash bonus is provided by the Westgate SuperBook and does not come out of the SuperContest prize monies or entry fees. If more than one entry qualifies for this bonus, the $15,000 will be divided equally. 6. The SuperContest is based on picking winning teams against the Westgate SuperBook contest line. Contestants must select five pro teams per week, per entry. Contestants may not select both sides of the game on a single entry. However, contestants may select one side of the game on one entry and the opposite side of the same game on a separate entry. 7. Contest winners will be determined by the total number of points accumulated during the pro football regular season (see rule 14). Each winning selection will be credited as one point. Ties (pushes) count as one half point. 8. Contestants must submit their weekly selections to the Westgate SuperBook by 11:00AM each Saturday morning, except when contestant wishes to use any game that starts before this deadline. If a contestant wishes to use any game that is scheduled to start before this deadline; their weekly selections must be submitted prior to the start of those games. Any contestant who fails to submit their weekly selections by 11:00AM Saturday will be awarded zero points that week. THIS TIME DEADLINE WILL BE STRICTLY ENFORCED. 9. Weekly selection sheets will be available at approximately 5:00PM each Wednesday. Contestant selections will be available in the Westgate SuperBook each Saturday afternoon. Current standings will be available in the Westgate SuperBook each Tuesday afternoon. Current standings and selections may be available on www.westgatevegas.com for information purposes only. Westgate SuperBook shall not be responsible for any errors and/or misinformation on its website. Official standings and selections are only available in the Westgate SuperBook. 10. Each contestant may authorize a proxy to submit their weekly selections by properly signing and authorizing such. Both contestant and proxy must signup, in person, at the same time in the SuperBook. 11. Contestants/proxies will be required to swipe SuperContest ID card and enter their PIN (personal identification number) at the Westgate SuperBook self-service contest window to make their selections. By signing the official entry form, the entrant becomes the “official contestant” and is the only one approved to collect any prize monies. Proxies are not eligible to collect any prize monies. Contestants may share winnings by filling out Form 5754 once the SuperContest becomes official. Please note there is a $5 service charge for to replace any lost SuperContest ID card. 12. Weekly selections can only be submitted one time per entry. Contestants/proxies cannot void weekly selections after the business day they were submitted. Weekly SuperContest tickets needed to be voided must be submitted to a Supervisor for approval. In the event a contestant has two entries; a contestant/proxy must submit separate weekly selections per entry. If more than one weekly selection is erroneously accepted for an entry, the first entry of weekly selections associated with that entry will be the official selections of record. 

FRIDAY FOOTBALL SHOWDOWN 2015

Presented by the Golden Nugget sports book

Hosted by The Las Vegas Sportsline, airing on ESPN Radio (1100 AM, 100.9 FM)

Each Friday throughout the football season, entrants compete in a college football and NFL handicapping contest. The radio broadcast is 2 to 3 p.m from the ESPN Radio studio in Las Vegas.

An unlimited number of contestants are allowed to enter for $2,000 each. One entry per person.

The deadline to register at the Golden Nugget sports book is Tuesday, Sept. 8 at 2 p.m., and the field of contestants will be announced on radio Wednesday, Sept. 9.

For the first eight weeks of the NFL schedule, each contestant makes seven selections against the spread, from all college and NFL sides and totals - excluding first-half lines - posted on the Golden Nugget board. The weekly card will be available at 2 p.m. Wednesdays.

Six of the plays are worth one point. One of the seven plays is designated as a Best Bet, which is worth two points and also is used for tiebreaking purposes.

After eight weeks, the top eight contestants according to point totals advance to the second round and a head-to-head bracket portion of the contest, which begins with Week 9 of the NFL schedule.

I was asked if people can share entries, actually a team of 4 won it last year and took home over $700,000 from a prize pool over $2 MILLION. We have many references as proxies from past and current entrants.

Many entrants to the contest also write off a portion of the entry fee as a marketing/business expense because they use their website or sports service for the entry name and is displayed throughout. To make it clear you are simply authorizing us to put picks in every week. PROXIES CANNOT COLLECT ANYTHING at the end from the sportsbook for your entry. You are simply authorizing us to put your plays in for you every week. The Westgate Contest is 5 games a week against the point spread, sides only.

We will proxy for the Las Vegas Sportsline Friday Night Showdown Contest also. Many really like the format with 7 plays a week for 8 weeks picking games from the NFL/College Football board including totals. After the 8 weeks a bracket style head to head playoff format is formed from the best 8 records after the 8^th week of play.
