Been lurking for a long time without anything worthy of contributing but found something that I can contribute in return.
Today he has a pending play Chicago +3.5 in NFL for 3 units.
Maxdalury is regarded as the best daily fantasy player in the world according to wikipedia and rotogrinders. I am sure anyone who played dfs 2 years ago know and probably hate him for entering big contest 400 to 500 times and winning most of the top prizes. The guy is experimenting with sports betting using the same models he used for cleaning up those contests and has put together an eye popping record in a small sample size. I only stumbled across his picks few days ago when someone mentioned in another forum that i frequent.
Its hard to dispute the record since he posts all the plays to the public free through his open google forum which anyone can see. His posts only get 20 to 25 views but I am guessing most of the followers choose google's email option where the follower can get an email when he posts. Right now he has Chicago +3.5 pending for tonight!
I will try to post the picks here whenever i see him. He doesn't play many plays. Only 66 plays since he started posted in google on May 26th. He is 6-0 in NFL by the way with 5 of those plays being 2 units and one of them 5 units.
I always wondered if those fantasy number crunchers would succeed in sports betting and this experiment of maxdalury should answer that question. 66 plays is not much but if he can maintain 60% hit rate over 500 plays, we got something. I am guessing line will start moving crazy if he maintains the hit rate with that many plays.
