Point taken. They will fall into the NFL playoff syndrome of doubling or tripling their bet size just because it's the "playoffs', and not because they have any greater edge.

No harm in not seeing eye to eye.... but I strongly strongly disagree with you. 

There aren't going to be any soft lines here out. The books know these teams inside and out by now and the lines will reflect that. Best of luck you here out though

I actually scale back my bet size for the Dance...  I bet smaller conference games mostly.

Anyways, think there has been some misunderstanding here. 

I'll lay it out one more time before I call it a night. 

- I'm not talking about tailing

- I'm not talking about trusting or making your own plays

- I'm not saying solid experienced bettors should stop betting these games 

- Only thing i'm trying to advise is... If you are a novice or casual bettor that hasn't been following the sport closely, don't try and get involved now just because things are heating up. Instead you should avoid the temptation and sit these games out.

There has always been and will continue to be plenty of line movement. Tons of games in a short period of time. Back to back games, injuries, momentum, motivation, coaches. Added public money. Love this time of year and have always made a profit. 

I think the spirit of what you were trying to say is don't overbet. Pick your spots. Playing every game will definitely lead to losses.

Exactly..Not all lines are sharp.

During the tourny last year, VCU was getting 7,8,9 points a game after they showed time and time and time again they could compete and win.

I see what you are saying, but this is my most profittable time of year.

This is one of the MOST profitable segments of the entire NCAAB year. There are TOO MANY games out there, Many weak lines. Inexperienced gamblers will  get pinched anytime of year not just now. Who cares about joe blow and his $100.00 he has to play with during march madness........these guys get burnt all year, every year, Do you think they're gonna lay off now, of course not.

i totally understand what you are saying but the novice capper is NOT going to heed your advice.

There will be soft lines ALL week............watch. The sheer number of games makes it hard to keep up with accurate lines.

This.  I don't know any time of year that's good for the casual bettor.  IN ANY SPORT. 

Casual guys get killed in college football all the time. Then they double their mistake in pros on Sunday. Then again on MNF.
