Looks like we have TB (C) today and also PIT (A) ?
I think the Pirates are a play after losing 4 on the road because the Cardinals lost their last series against the Cubs

According to my calculations, if you want to win $1,000 a series, the TB game today will cost $12.631 to play. I'm sure glad this system doesn't lose. But this system sure gets the heart pumping. Yikes!

PIT would seem to not be a play because their next series is with ARZ who have beaten BAL in the first two games of their three game series.

rp-rt   I think you might be right. Looking at the rules it says to look at the NEXT series team. Thanks and sorry about that.

5) If the team being chased lost first 4 on the road you must look at the next series team and see if they had a losing record coming into to the series being played. Seems hard to follow but happens only about 15% of the time or less.

Not a problem. This one is a little complicated anyway because if ARZ and BAL would have split the first two games, we would not know if ARZ wins or loses the series until the game three results. So if PIT loses to STL, they would have lost five in a row. and if ARZ lost two of three, we could play PIT then and have benefited from not having to play the systems first game loss. So JEFFTHEHAT, have you run across this in your testing?

Sorry guys about the confusion, I didnt write the rule 5 very clearly. If you look at the 2 examples they are identical to the situation today. So what I need to add is if gm 4 loss comes on the first game of a 3 or more game series on the road  it is a play also. Hopefully that clears this up it doesn't happen often.

oar821, your instincts were correct. thanks for bringing the PIT game up so we could get a better understanding of the system.

TB is also a play in the CKP22 post all-star game system. C'mon TB, (I need a beer).
