I'm under this impression......
The initial trouble started when 8 or 10 of them had a contest during the Covers/Wagerline merger. They were in some Wagerline forum that they thought was private to just them using a password .,,,,It was not.
One of the Wagerline posters pops his head in there warning them that by the rules, their contest can't be for money and the P-Box boys freak out on him wondering how he got in that thread.
The guy was being nice at first and says..." I was just giving you guys a heads-up about the rules here "
The boys badgered him anyway to the point where he said in so many words..." Well if you guys are that stupid to think you were in a private room and nobody else could see what you were doing.....then fuck you"
Now either that guy ratted on them [ that's what the boys claimed ] or Covers Mods saw it themselves but either way...They were all boxed.
Prior to these events.....the Mod that you are talking about was pretty good friends with the Nation boys and joked around with them almost every day.
I believe that around 48 hours or so after the boxings Football_Expert [ who had nothing to do with the contest ] was sticking up for the guys and freaked out on the Mod that you are talking about.
I recall it was around 3 am and it went back and forth for at least 20 min. I kept F5ing the thread and reading some pretty harsh shit and sometimes personal attacks from FE.
All of a sudden FE was banned and the thread deleted.
The only other person that I know of that saw most of that particular thread that night was The Giant. Neither of us saw what the last thing that FE said that caused the banning but it may have been that he just wouldn't stop. He was given chances........
Before that FE was proud of and kept a running tally of being boxed 11 times.
The Nation boys turned against that Mod from that day on and even today people that weren't even around then think he is a bad Mod just because of a bad rap that he got when pushed into doing his job.
