Webba, KOAJ, WallStreetCappers...here it is....including my previous user name

OK Guys here goes……

I don’t have exact dates, but, the timeline will be pretty close….

I originally joined covers back in the spring of 2003 (Baseball season had just started)

      I joined under the user name of 69AmazinMets….no dashes or hyphens.

 I last posted with that name some time after the Marlins beat the Yanks. I probably only started about 20 threads, and only had about 200 posts,  but, I remember starting a thread some time around early August stating  I thought the Marlins were going to win the World Series. (The Marlins had just run off a string of wins, and were playing better ball than any team in the NL.)

When the baseball season ended, I stayed away from covers mostly because that is a very busy time for me. I have made it known here in the forums that I also book some action, and football season is every books busiest time. I didn’t want to get influenced by covers threads, and shade a line one way or another, so I stayed away from covers completely.

Fast forward to April-May of 2004, and I tried to access my username, but, I kept getting error messages. I tried to contact covers help via the feedback link, but, didn’t remember what email address I used when I originally signed up for covers (I didn’t use my regular email for fear of getting flooded with spam…)

   I told covers the situation and asked them if I could create another user name and was informed the manifesto prohibits the use of multiple user names……

  I wasn’t sure this applied to me, since I COULDN’T USE MULTIPLE USER NAMES, because 69AmazinMets either got erased, or I forgot my password…..either way, I COULDN’T USE multiple User Names…

I then signed up with a new user name, and used it until I asked it to be banned, some time in the spring of 2005…..my user name ……….FatDrunknStupid

At the time I re-signed, I had two friends that were then members at covers…., NewYorkBob and Patrick1963.

   I knew Pat for about 13 years, and met NYBob when he rented a house that I owned…

It turned out that NYBob also was a truck driver, and he ended up driving for me (and yes, he is the “Robert” that I thought had a heart attack the other night…..)

These guys, Rickey, JMBurd, and a couple other guys were always going at it in the box with Marino, Oldlineman, TonyBats, Uncle Mudcat, and Mistaflava. I sided with my friends, and was immediately accused of being NewYorkBob. (Sound familiar to any of you guys???)

   I was part of an alliance, with the above mentioned guys, and had a lot of fun in the box for a few months.

I continued to post under FatDrunknStupid, and then in December of 2004, I was diagnosed with Large Cell, non Hodgkin’s lymphoma…..

      I had a lump that was growing on the left side of my neck, and it seemed to be getting bigger….

I went to a doctor, who sent me to a specialist….there a “fine needle aspiration” was performed, and it was found to be a lymphoma….

    I then went for a biopsy, and the lymphoma was found to be malignant large cell non Hodgkin’s lymphoma…..

       I started Chemo within 2 weeks of diagnoses because a “gallium scan” showed the only lymph node that was affected was in my neck, but the mass was a size of a softball, and it had grow some around the “great vessels of the heart” and was also pushing against my trachea….having moved it a few centimeters out of alignment.

    During the Chemo, I was prescribed numerous medicines, one of which was prednisone…..

   If any of you have ever taken this drug, it does wonders, but, one of the side effects was it causes mood swings, and also aggression……

    I saw the way it made me act at covers…a simple argument I would make a heated argument, so I asked to be banned some time while I was undergoing the Chemo ( in the late winter /early spring of 2005.

      For two years, I have been pretty busy running my business….I sated as an ower-operator, but, have made a good enough living that I now have 13 trucks ( 12 drivers ) and spent most of the last 2 years building a good driver corp, and working hard to make things work.

     After this past football season, I again decided to join covers. I signed up in March, and have been here since.

I am still friends with NewYorkBob and with Patrick1963, and both still currently post here (under new names) ….Both is active members, and has been since 2005…..

I know some of you guys will remember theses days, and some will not.

I also realize that many of you guys that I disagree with in the Politics forum will want to see me banned…not because of my actions, but, because you disagree with some of my political views…..

Webba…KOAJ…WallStreetCappers…..all the above is true.

   Webba I know you said I can have a pass if I fess up, and I also know you have to answer to people. If I get banned for this acknowledgement, then so be it…..

I don’t know if I violated any rules since I never had multiple names at one time, but, I have had one name get “lost” and another I asked to be banned.

   I reread what I posted in the other thread, and I hope this clears things up…..I may have lead you to believe I was diagnosed with cancer when I was 69AmazinMets, but, that was just poor wording on my part. I will only be online for about 5 minutes after I post this, but, should have some time to get back on tomorrow to clear up any questions.

   I hope I will still have posting privileges that will allow me to answer.
