As soon as I collect from my local the $722 I won off him thanks to your plays last week (Denver, Chicago, Over TB/Oak), you'll recieve a generous donation. I played your 3 plays and parlayed them ....please wait till monday to give the 20% to Sandy relief. I would love it if 20% of my donation went to people in need. I've already donated $100 to the relief fund "before" you went ballistic on my bookie and would feel disingenuous to not give more.

I remember calling a certain (past) poster on this site the modern day "Robin Hood" for taking from the man and giving to the little people, without expecting anything in return other than praise and thanks. I hope you continue to show the world not only your knowledge but your humanity...every now and then someone comes along and proves the people of this world can be absolutely amazing solely because they want to. Although it is 30 vs 32, 30 has some mojo going, they're playing for more than football. Numbers won't show any value, but tonight is the night we'll see if Luck impacts a spread line and can rally his team. Jacksonville only has 6 wins in 2 years, and 3 of them were against Indy. I still think it should be fun to watch.

I understand the implications of my move and I fully realize what this means for my relationship with the business you represent.  To be quite honest though, obviously my work is the source of a decent amount of traffic to this site.. if CMG had been more welcoming, perhaps I wouldn't have gone down this road.  I mean, c'mon, CT removed the ability to hyperlink in the forums the same week I started publishing my NFL sheets - it's clear that I'm not welcome.  Not to mention the rest of the decisions that CMG has made regarding the prioritization of their advertisers over the user experience.  Full screen pop-ups, embedded banner ads, no hyperlinks, restrictions on avatars - these are unprecedented moves for a website of this caliber.  This has been a long time coming..

I think you are stretching in the above reply. You think that Covers changed policy because you linked some google docs pages site?

There are thousands of users and you are not the first to do what you are currently doing.

The decisions made by Covers had absolutely nothing to do with you.

Fine WSC, I don't mean to get into any conspiracy theories.  The fact is, my work is helping a huge portion of this community and has been the source of a decent amount of traffic to this site.  Google Docs could not support the amount and type of content that I want to share with the sports handicapping community.  I started the site to better meet my needs and the growing demand for the handicapping tools I publish.  Like I said, I understand the implications of my decision.  If this is where we part ways then lets do it like gentlemen.

The bottom line is there are very few posters on Covers that get the views and replies his threads consisently week in and week out. 

The moves over the last several months clearly show that Covers is simply about the profits and not the users.  The least they could do is just man up and admit it.  Not to mention that.  To each it's own, but if I ran a hospital where the customers (doctors/patients) came 2nd to profits I would be unemployed .

Although, I can't say that I'll boycott this site because of the way they're running it and pushing away the people that provide a "decent (a lot ) of traffic" to their site, in time who knows maybe I'll just be checking ONE site out?

For everyone concerned with UE, please use Google Chrome and its Adblock Plus extension. If 30% covers users pulled their head out of their asses and installed it (in fact, Chrome has an option to turn OFF the collecting of any personal data - for those concerned with privacy), advertisers would immediately realize that stuffing ads up your throats no longer works.

And things would change.

Unlike most other extensions, Adblock Plus words. It also inadvertently blocks websites that are 100% flash (like bet365.com) but with a click of a button you can enable flash for those websites and experience no interruptions there. While still retaining your AD-FREE COVERS FORUMS.

You'll be able to see the site in the next day or so...maybe even later on tonight. It just takes time for the site has to make its way around the net. i was just able to access it earlier today. although i could see it from my iPhone from the beginning.
