Hello everyone. Lets say someone showed you a MLB betting algorithm that was proven to be successful.
Where you could quadriple the amount you bet each season. Thus if you starting bankroll was $25,000 you would end up with $100,000 at the end of the season. As well, the algorithm has been back tested and proven the past 5 years.
What would it be worth? What would you pay for it?
I am curious because if you obviously had a big bankroll, you would kill the books. But by how much? How much is enough. What is the goldilocks of winning at sports? Where you are happy and have a great life, but don't make enough to attract too much attention, or be hounded for plays, or be black listed/not have any action taken.
I have been doing very well the past few years. However, I had my limits cut at some major online sports books (Bet365). I also had my accounts closed at some places and told to get lost (5dimes). I don't live anywhere near LV and locals will not take my action. I can win, but I re-invested my winnings and have had a hard time finding places to take action now. I spread it out now, but I could make a lot more.
If I could prove my algorithm does work, I was thinking of selling it, but I really have no idea what it would be worth because it is completely dependent on a persons bankroll and how they could maximize it. If I did not sell and keep betting, or do both, I wonder what I should bet where I wouldn't have a hard time of bookies/sportsbooks shutting me out.
Does anyone bet certain amounts they are happy with but stay under the radar? Is there a place that takes big action and does not care about long term winners?
Thx for any input.
