Anyone remember KOAJ? Never made picks really but had Mark Sanchez as his avatar.
What about GameHunter? Is this guy tout?
One of the more remarkable things I've seen on this site is that some pretty bad cappers say they are going tout. Cappers I would never tail. Then all of a sudden they announce they have their own site with a membership fee. Please! I wouldn't take your picks for free on a message board.

And how much success have they had as a tout (in general)?
I remember Indian Cowboy. Loved his threads. I see him on Doc's Sports. I don't care how much hate he had, the guy knew what he was talking about.
How much does this guy make for being a tout on that site? Any ideas?
There was also another guy named DUY. He was from the Philippines. Anyone remember him?
He was banned according to this thread. Never heard from him after that.

Buzzcat was the best capper on here. He got sideways with the mods and walked away. Now he's doing a six-figure service with solid, dependable results.

I don't think GameHunter went tout, I think he just got tired of the BS he had to put up with. He definitely gave a free baseball handicapping education, and many chose to spit in his face.
Didn't Birdman go tout? Another that gave an education. He could help you build a monster college basketball bankroll.

I have a theory on what posters do and I don't know if it has been discussed before. I read through all of the guys threads in all sports that say they are hitting 60% and up.
If their account was created less than a year prior I give them no credibility. The reason is they may have other accounts currently and then highlight the one that's doing good. You'll usually see other posters in that thread saying "Let's get that money", or some other BS. Those other posters are usually in their infant stages with Covers as well. If those posters are alias's of the OP or just gullible followers who knows? The reason I mention this is because I think they are reeling people in with the intention of going tout.
The posters I give credibility to are the ones that have been around for a few years and the people posting in their threads are also veterans.

I thought covers was one of the few joints that banned people for multiple accounts.

Anyone remember a guy called UNCForever or something? All I remember was he was a North Carolina college basketball fan and he was very good but then suddenly kapeeesh, Who are these people and how do they go from being great cappers and seemingly normal people to just disappearing? Do they lose money and go broke and therefore quit? Do they all go tout?

GameHunter took some real heat for having a bad baseball season. So he stopped posting baseball but posts in the horse forum now and then. He is a very good horse capper. I remember he played a big six ticket at the big M. Man there was a bunch of us rooting him on. Not sure what he won but I think it was around 50-80k. Maybe somebody can look that up.
Big East Expert went tout and from whats been posted looks like he was capping around 20%.
Then their was some guy (forgot name) and all he posted was East Carolina football games. He had access to watch the pratice so he said. He was good, so good he went tout. No idea how it worked out.
And I thought KOAJ was still a mod. If he was posting it was probably before my time.
No idea what happened to Bator, Was he the one that that flew down to Los Angeles to watch some trial of some rip off that owed him money. I remember him saying the guy conned him out of 100k (that number could be off)
And who can forget that SJP fiasco.

Another great capper was NROPP. He never went tout but got tired of all the sheep at Covers. I know where he is and that guy win or lose is the most knowledgeable college hoop capper that I have ever met.

The guy with the Cobra Kai teacher avatar who titles his thread with "Low Post Play" has been around for years and is very good.
That East Carolina guy who Kursh mentioned in post #13 was on an incredible run on both ECU football and basketball for about 2 years before he started his own website which opted for "tipping" members who provided winners. It got shut down.
Most handicappers would be much better off following their own local teams and betting spots accordingly as they see them.
Key Element's baseball plays are worth following for the long term.

I don't believe Carolinablue went tout but he was REALLY good in college. HawaiiGuy was so knowledgeable of his Hawaii teams and was never shy about going big against his team and their conference. He didn't go tout but he hasn't been around either.

Game Hunter got caught in the trap of always playing baseball for plus money. As you get older, and keep playing this game called sports betting, you realize there is often value in the favorite if you're willing to risk more than the reward.
