♠ACES HIGH♠

No Cloud really weakens the Mystics. Aces are bet on and the better team at the moment. The road trip does make me pause, but at least the Mystics had to travel some too. This feels like a revenge tour for the Aces. Each of the first 3 teams eliminated them in the playoffs in the last 3 years. They'll have their attention. I really like what Hammon has done with her pace and space system so far. They're playing extremely hard with a chip. And Mystics beating the fever and lynx is pretty ho hum, while Aces took care of the Storm. This will be a much tougher test for the Mystics, especially without Cloud.

What a collapse....either they're gassed or Hammon got schooled or both 

When an WNBA team has a bad quarter it’s really bad (look at the Lynx in Q2 the other night).  

I do think Thibault did a nice job at halftime with defensive adjustments to slow down Young and Plum.  Hammon will be a great coach but will give the nod to the old pro tonight in terms of coaching.

Oh well onto the next.

Turnovers killed the Aces in the 3rd quarter. Not sure how many they had, but it seem like it was every single possession.  Machida did a good job filling in at PG and just running around and think maybe wore the Aces down.  Still think LV is a top 2 team. They, much like many teams, still aren't at full strength.  We'll see!!

thanks for the insight fellas and I agree....that's what my eyes saw too.  A'ja even said after the game they were gassed and their legs were heavy at shootaround.  Playing 3 games a day apart with cross country travel destroyed them....I knowingly ignored that factor too.......duly noted.....ugh
