Hey all,

Updated. I amended those who advised their previous record was wrong. Also, for those guys in RED writing, you need to make a play on Friday  because you didn't make a play over the past 2-3 days in the previous thread. If no play on Friday, you are gone from the contest as it is unfair for some people to make 8 plays compared to 2-3. Also no more new entries as the season has been going for 2 weeks already.

***It has been a real hard start to the season. This time last year with the contest we had a lot more cappers over 50%. This year we have about half under and half over. Plenty of time to turn it around.

My bad BuckJohn. Will amend it next time I update the contest. I saw the Storm -2 and thought that was against the Sun the other day. Just too make it easy, when you make a play can you put who their opponent is just so I know which game it is because sometimes its hard to track when you go through 89 posts.

Not sure if this is the right place to post, but it seems as good as any.

June 19:  Indiana / NY Liberty 152 OVER. 

For me this pick is all about the line movement.  Tracking on line movement doesn't work nearly as well in WNBA as in the NBA since it is a smaller-handle sport, but in certain spots I think it holds value.  This number is moving up despite a big majority of the casual fans riding the under.  That tells me all I need to know.

good point wagers. here's my write-up:
this is the only rematch game of the day. according to you, the line says a lot about what the bookies think will happen.

last game was fever @ NY liberty
last game o/u was 148.5. they scored 165.
last game spread was NY -4.5.
this time is fever @ NY liberty too
this time the o/u started 151 and went up to 153.5.
this time the spread is NY -3.5.

based on this info, I expect a high scoring game. i suspect the only reason the o/u is not higher is because NY has been playing some low scoring games lately, averaging appx 65 points.

It's a lot of work.

Play for Friday --> Phoenix -3 1H (over Connecticut)
Phoenix usually overpriced due to the "rep" and because they are the returning champs, but they are only a small fav against the Sun and it's time to take advantage.  The Sun are having a season and now are going against a team with similar attributes and who also love to go up and down and shoot.
Always favor the home team in these even-matchup situations.

New York liberty under 153.5  
they scored 165 with a 49 point fourth Q and both teams shot over 40% from 3 last time they met. 80-74 final score wont be that easy for these two imo.

Yeah, I do. Overs have been hitting like crazy there. Dogs too. On the other hand, WNBA remains a mystery to me.
