Just brutal this league sometimes but it makes me think we will see some amazing players come back.
Waived
Sparks - Anigwe and Bria Holmes
Storm - Kiana Williams
Lynx - Banham
Aces - Joyner Holmes
Mystics - Leslie, Gustafson and Johnson
There will be more to come before the deadline. Some of these players might get signed to 7 day contracts which is basically the teams way of saving money on their cap space. Someone like Banham would have been on decent money, they waive her and then sign her to a smaller contract.
Mystics have EDD as doubtful for this game tomorrow but she is almost there and with them getting rid of those three players, makes me think they will activate Meesesman. She stated that if she plays this season it will be after the Olympics so wouldn’t be surprised to see her sign for the second half of the season. If she does, how do you stop EDD, Charles and Meesseman in one team?

Yeah once she got activated this became a Suns play for me. Cloud and Hines-Allen are both coming off injuries so who knows how much rhythm they'll have. They'll need them both at full strength to keep it close and it's possible they may not even play. We know Jones has been balling this whole time so her shot will be there. Usually players coming back screws up rotation and rhythm, but Jones is a net positive to me.

Also they are missing so many players for this game after releasing players yesterday. Their starters are going to have to play 32+ mins tonight against a very hungry Sun team. Charles will be hard to stop but i have no idea what the Mystics were thinking off letting go of so many players

My thinking was...if they had Hines-Allen and Cloud at full strength playing well they could cover. But no Hines and Cloud still a maybe ? No thanks. Cloud has been sub-par since her championship season and a turnover machine to boot this year.

agree mate and her shooting has been poor as well. Mitchell shining right now and Tina having an amazing season but I don’t see how the organisation can run with 7-8 players with the hope that EDD comes back and stays healthy. We all know she has had her injuries throughout the years. It has to be Meesseman coming back but even so, they would still be short

Somehow the Liberty scored 101 points off just 59 shots. They went 13/32 from deep, 19-27 two pointers and 24/28 free throws. The Dream much worse so I expect a faster tempo game with Liberty taking more shots, not being as efficient but still scoring at a decent rate. Dream took 71 shots but only hit 29 but as long as Carter is playing, the Dream should take around the same amount of shots again and I think the Liberty takes around the same.

New York Liberty @ Atlanta Dream: Over 170.5

Liberty went 9 mins without scoring a single field goal after scoring 25 in the 1Q. Both teams scored 22 points combined in a 10 minute quarter. Simply amazing, don’t remember seeing such a lop-sided game

I have no explanation for this 2Q

will you hedge oz? The total is 157 right now for the 2nd half. I went under 182 during the end of 1st qtr. Maybe they can still score oz 45-50 each qtr in the 2nd half. Bol
