So yesterday I posted on Wagers thread that the teams that allow less than 100 points per possessions do quite well in this league. Let me show you something. Some of you might think that i am a little crazy to think that teams actually get 100 possessions per game, but the site I use for my stats actually uses 100 possessions for the WNBA and that is based on 48 minutes of basketball. Obviously the WNBA is only 40 mins but this is what the stats show. I will only show you teams thats are under 100.
I only went back to 2009 because before than, almost all teams had under 100 points per 100 possessions because the game has changed so much thanks to the Splash brothers in the NBA with more 3's being shot and just a quicker tempo. I thought 2009 might be a bit of a stretch but I wanted to add that it. The 2 teams right now in the WNBA that have this are the Lynx and the Dream. They have met before in the WNBA Finals with the Lynx winning. Just thought this information might interest people right now because I don't think we should sleep on the Lynx or the Dream because both have a massive amount of playoff experience and both have shown they can win on the road against very good teams.

2009 was a bizarre season, with the Mercury winning the title. They had the worst defense efficiency out of the league but they had the best offense efficiency. This was a bizarre season to say the least.
