Sun @ Mystics: Sun +4.5

Well as my title suggest, I am taking the Sun ATS and I think they can possibly win this game S/U. Took them against the Storm about a week ago and I think they can replicate that effort against the Mystics in WSH. The Mystics are coming good (Wagers called this 2 weeks ago) and they are coming off an impressive roadie going 3-2 S/U but now face a team that they have already beaten twice this season. I don't think Washington can win 3 straight games against the same team in the one season. Both in desperate need for a win as they are sitting in 3rd and 4th in the East with Sky and Liberty not too far behind them. 

Look, the Mystics may win this game, but I don't think its going to be by more than 1-2 possessions and thats why I'm taking the +4.5

Hoops1487 - I saw you posted on yesterday's thread about the Liberty @ Sparks game and maybe Sparks looking too far ahead to the next game vs the Mercury. I don't think so IMO. I think the Sparks see this game against the Liberty an opportunity for a vital win because they have such a big powerhouse team coming their way after the Liberty game. Sparks fired their coach, they have a new coach now so we are all unsure of what the new coach's mindset iand tactics are going to be moving forward. The Sparks have the squad and the talent and who knows, maybe the new coach will give them more confidence to play as I believe that a change can work wonders at times. I actually lean Sparks in this game basically because of the way the Sparks beat the Liberty in NY, Liberty are atrocious opening up a roadie going 0-6 S/U in their last 6 when starting a roadie of 2 or more games) and the Sparks are a great team to back when they play their 2nd consecutive game in a row at home. Just my thoughts mate. GL.

Hey Sailorman, you seem very confident on Sun winning S/U tomorrow. Any insight why you feel so strong about this? Was thinking about laying some cash on the ML as well. 

Hey Emir, I think Sun show up for this game in a big way. I just can't see the Sun losing 3 games in the one season to the Mystics. I can understand Mercury maybe but not Mystics.

Mate you are an absolute legend and I agree. We see it every year in Rugby League in Oz and also the EPL. New coaches come in, change it up a bit and the teams usually prevail for the first game under a new coach and I think that happens tomorrow. I believe that there must have been some change-room issues going on between the team and Coach Ross. Maybe she had a falling out or something with a player or players. We wont know but I think they get up for this game against a Liberty side that are 1-9 S/U on the road. 

Sparks have way too much talent to go down to the Liberty in LA and even though the Liberty are 11-1 ATS in their last 12 in LA, I think this trend is blown out the door because this is a completely different situation for the Sparks. Wouldn't be surprised to see a few ref calls go the way of the Sparks either in this game due to the roughness that Liberty play at.
