This is the Sun's Superbowl pretty much. They need a win against a big win and I seriously don't see them losing 2 straight at home. The Storm's bodyclocks are all over the place. That game vs the Sky the other day was around 8am Seattle time. Now they have had a days rest and have to play this game around 4pm Seattle time. Now it doesn't seem like much but the inconsistent time of these games matters to me.
The Storm have won both games this year by double digits but lets think about this. The first match-up on 15 June, Sun were coming off a home loss to the Mystics and traveled to Seattle on 1 days rest and didn't have Alyssa Thomas and Howard went for 25 and Stewart 23. Next game, was at Seattle again, no Courtney Williams or Thomas and it was after the whole Bentley fiasco. Once again, it was after another home game and then across to Seattle. They did have 3 days rest this time around.
Now we get Seattle on a 4 game road trip, they easily beat the Sky the other night but I am going to take the Sun as they play the Wings in Dallas on Sunday followed by Mystics before the break. They need wins and wins against quality opponents can always kick start a run. Seattle IMHO in a bad spot tonight and seeing that they have quite a gap now between themselves and 2nd place (Mercury) I wouldn't be surprise to see Hughes potentially rest Sue Bird because she hasn't had a night off for a while now and they play the Dream next in Atlanta followed by the Fever in Indy before the break. She will rest one of these 3 games so watch out for that but nonetheless, I am backing the Sun to win this game with or without Bird on the court.

Thats a pathetic performance from the Sun and pretty much their last chance of making some sort of run towards the post-season. Its a shame because they were such a fun team to watch but it looks as though potentially the come back of Chiney to this team has ruined the chemistry they had last season and now Jones doesn't know her role. Also the off-court issues has definitely left a scar on this team.
