Game 4’s

Sat and watch the Game 3’s and was blown away by how much the Storm just threw that game away. Tina missing free throws, Ezi not marking up in Young tight enough even after the great 3 point corner shot by Bird. Tina really needs to stay in the paint and control it, allow Loyd, Bird and Stewie to take the 3’s. Aja and Gray were phenomenal in that game 3 but if I know Aja as well as I think I do, I don’t believe she does those heroics again in Game 4. I’m leaning Seattle as this potentially could be Birds last game at home if they lose. The line is a PK right now but I will wait to see where that line moves as the hours go by. 

The other game is a tough one because Jonquel and Thomas were shut down and Parker and Meeseman had massive games for Chicago. Sun missed so many layups and Quigley was horrible for the Sky. She was bad in Game 1 as well. That game is also at PK right now and the Sun cannot be trusted in these big stage games as they have shown time after time they crumble in the post-season. 

Storm will win Sue Birds last home game. Seattle early and often, Let’s cash!

 I believe Seattle will win game 4 and 5.

 Yes, Seattle will win game 4. I don't know why they didn't play tough defense in game 3.

 Sky @ Sun: Over 160

Game 1 had 131 points, Sun took 75 attempts and the Sky 68.

Game 2 had 162 points with the Sky attempting 63 and Sun 70

Game 3 had 148 points with Sky taking 70 attempts and the Sun 68. 

We now are given a total of 160 as you would definitely think is right given that the last game didn’t reach 150 and only one game has gone over 160 points. 

The pace is there, with at least one team each game taking 70 attempts. Both teams not shooting well at all, apart from game 2 where they actually both shot over 45% but the other two games they shot 39% or less. With this being an elimination game, will take my chances on this over as we might see a lot of fouling towards the end of the game if this game remains close (which I believe will).

 Glad we were able to cash Fazz. Game 5 coming up, should be fun.

The Aces go home and get some much needed rest before they take on either the Sun or Sky. They beat the Sky 3-1 in reg season and the Sun 2-1, so they definitely know how to beat both teams. 

The Sky has the vet experience and the Sun have the bigs to slow down Aja but not sure who can stop Gray right now. She is ballin. 

The Finals are meant to start on 11 September so the Sun and Sky game 5 is on 8 Sep. Only tomorrow to rest before Game 5 and two days rest after that before taking on Vegas on 11. 

Thanks as always for the info Aussie. So now the Aces will have 3 days rest prior to the September 11th game 1, and they will be home, two major keys. Which team do you think the Aces have an edge over more the Sky or the Sun?

 Good question mate. Think we are finally seeing Aja live up to her expectations and Gray has stepped up big time. You then have Plum who can knock down 20+ any given night. Think the Aces would rather play the Sky as they have beaten them 3-1 this year and the Sun do have Jonquel and Thomas who can really stop Aja
