General feel out question, do you guys have a standard home court advantage that you apply to WNBA teams across the board or do you try to assign one for each individual team?

Gotcha, I did read that the Lynx crowd is bigger than most. So comparing it to the NBA or NFL, home court can vary as worth 2.5 to 3 pts on the spread and should factor things like travel (for road team)/not traveling (for home team), bench/role players performing better at home, crowd noise/hype, etc.
I'm thinking I'll treat WNBA like the Rams/Chargers in NFL, .5 to 2 pts of home court advantage, they usually won't get rowdy fan support, but still get the benefits of not traveling versus having to travel, playing in familiar settings. U guys agree with this general assessment or are the numbers I'm trying to use way off?

I try and avoid the WNBA like the plague. These girls are fucking trash. I know JV teams in Texas High School Boys that would run these girls out of the gym.
Brittany Griner is more worried about Dyke life than playing basketball and it shows she is a bum.

The only think you ever play in Women's basketball is the under or you don't play the game at all.
Women's Sports in General are a joke though.

Interesting question
my take is that it means not as much as the four major men’s sports.
I would look more at where it is.
Example. When NYL played MSG the visitors would have trouble at first because the arena was and is huge. Backdrops are different. It is harder for depth perception OnThe three ball.

Not so much the crowd but the space. Remember NO ONE goes to these train wrecks. No one cares.
5000 black lesbians and me. That is who cares. That is who comes to these tilts.
Concentrate on b2b
on menstrual cycle
on long term travel.
On injuries.

The difference between what the bookies assess to home court and what i deem is simply not enough to base a play on.
I do believe the home court is already included in the line (close enough). The reason why the Lynx home court is so strong is the ownership protects the fan base by bringing in and keeping good players. Lynx home court keeps this league going.
You might disagree with me but its just my .02

Just throwing it out there.
Home teams (fav or dog) in the reg season are 961-675 S/U 58.7%) since 2012.
Western Home teams vs the East are 215-128 S/U (62.7%).
Eastern home team vs the West are 186-156 S/U (54.4%).
This data is from 2012 onwards.

Appreciate the comments everyone, from ADU's data pull it seems home court advantage isn't factored into the spread enough, but there could be plenty of other factors affecting those ATS results.
I'll do some more work on this and I'll come back with some standardized home court ratings we can try to apply to each team. Then we can debate/hammer it out so it can be used going forward.

The data I get is from SDQL, www.killersports or www.sportsdatabase.com but the WNBA only goes back to 2012 on those sites.
If you google, WNBA Basketball reference, that site is amazing and goes all the way back since the beginning of WNBA.
Highly recommend using SDQL and getting to know the language/code so you can run queries/situations you want to know about. More than happy to assist you on learning the basics of it.
