my pre season power rankings

Doing this pre-draft

Lot of big moves this off season. Sky add Emma Meesseman but lose Dolson (Liberty) and DeShields (Mercury). Mercury sign Tina Charles to replace Griner who might be out all season. Liz Cambage, Chennedy Carter and Jordin Canada are all heading to the Sparks, who now have a lot of talent but no shooting and a lot of big egos in that locker room. Storm made a nice move to get Briann January, who played a huge part in the Sun's dominant regular season last year. Mystics didn't do much except for adding Eliz Williams and lost Tina Charles, but Elena Delle Donne and Alysha Clark should be back for them by the start of the season after only playing 3 and 0 games last year respectively. Wings big move was adding Tierra McCowan who gives them a boost in their front court that they desperately needed. Napheesa Collier will miss a lot, if not the entire season due to pregnancy. Lynx do add Angel McCoughtry who probably would make a decent replacement if she can stay healthy, which is a big ask for 35 yr old vet who's been injury prone past 3 years. Sun bring back Courtney Williams to replace January, which is a slight downgrade in my opinion

Good stuff, I like seeing others power rankings. Meesseman is a phenomenal player and the Sky getting her was absolutely amazing. They got rid of DeShields as well who wasn’t herself and maybe had an issue with Wade. They will be very hard to stop with that roster. 

Mercury losing BG is huge and like you said, they have gained Tina. I will want to see what kind of schemes their new coach has as Brondello is now at Liberty. 

Going to be a really tough season with so many outsiders potentially causing a stir. I do like McCowan going to Dallas as that’s the kind of size they need in the middle. Mabrey has been playing here in Oz during the off-season and has been playing well. She plays here with Perth who have reached the finals she plays alongside Whitcomb and Jackie Young. All having great seasons.

 Cheers aussie. I didn’t even know pre season started until I saw the scores Monday lol. You catch any of the games?

Sadly the WNBA preseason doesnt have tv, or at least all the games I tried to follow had no streams

So far, mine are (this is assuming everyone is playing and healthy etc):

1. Conn - Swapped January for Williams but get AT back.

2. LV- Don't think they'll miss Liz

3. Sky- Meeseman played preseason, so assume she'll play for the first time since i think they won the title. Def think they have a higher ceiling. Wont miss Dolson or Diamond. Only thing is theyre kinda old-ish.

4 (tie). Seattle- they'll lose to Indy but will beat Aces and Conn in back-to-backs. 

4 (tie). Washington- if healthy can compete... *IF* healthy. Really wish TC and EDD could've played together last year. I feel they have such a good supporting cast still.

6. PhX- TC replaces Griner, so I feel that's basically a wash. If Griner was playing, prob put them in top 2

7. LA- Made a few nice additions. Fisher still is trash. at 50/1-ish may throw a little on them. Seems slightly high

8. Minn- I'm out on Angel. Like you said, too old, too injury prone.

8 (tie). Dallas- Arike needs better shot selections. Mabrey nice player, but faded big time late last season.

10. NYL- Sabrina needs a break out year and needs to shoot better.

11. ATL- I prob have bet on ATL more than any other team. I don't think the trend will continue this year.

12. Indy- ...
