Season: 2-1

Lets get some discussion happening. This schedule is a little crazy to begin with this season. Like it when there are only 1-2 games on per day instead of 4 then a day's rest. But anyways here we go.

We go 

Dream -6 vs the Stars
Sky -6.5 @ Sun
Mercury -2.5 @ Liberty
Lynx -12.5 vs the Storm

Some juicy lines there. Post away fellas. I have no idea right now but early lean would be on the Lynx ATS and possibly Liberty ATS if that line increases to say +4 or +5 by tip-off. Mercury is NOT the same team as last season with no DT or Griner right now. Liberty playing with confidence and played a big 2H to win and cover vs the Fever.

 Shock not playing tomorrow but Donsbest are stating that Odyssey Sims is injured. Will dig deeper into this injury.

I got to go Dream here at -6. If they screw me here again then I stop backing them. But I mean they outrebound EVERYONE. Except maybe Liberty. And by a wide margin. Geez last game 51-25! And their shooting is not that bad right now. They are at home. I cannot believe their coach will not stop the turnover fest (My God! 25 last game) This is the main reason they are 0-2. And against a bad Stars team. And Dream is going on the road for awhile. They really need this game. If I am wrong I am wrong but I think I am right. I cannot MAX this because Dream cannot be counted on but i really cannot see Dream losing this.And the  -6 is going to -7 before tipoff. I am getting it now.

Also Liberty is +2.5 NOT +7  I cannot believe Ciccio EVER got that number. Must have been a misprint. Also I do not think SEA is as bad as everyone says they areReally before the last curb stomping we had them as the pundits hot team (with Tulsa).

Hey Joe,

I can not put any of my cash on the Dream right now. There is something wrong with this team. How can you out re-bound a team but that much and still lose? So far, they are ranked 11th in the league for shooting percentage, hitting just 36.3%. Amazing. I truly believe there is something happening in the locker room between the girls. I am probably staying away from the Dream until they can prove they can do something. Agree, big game for them before heading to Mystics and Sun on the road. 

I am starting to like Sun ATS at home. No Quigley for the Sky. Sun playing decent ball. I was very surprised to see them fight hard and actually win the game vs the Dream the other day when they were down by 11 in the middle of the 2Q. We shall see my friend.

Don't you guys get a Kobe-like vibe from Angel?  Doesn't seem like the girls enjoy playing with her, big reason they're struggling too is Shoni can't get her shot on track, also Tiffany Hayes is usually a super efficient scorer, but she can't hit either.  That being said, I think they have a breakthrough performance here.

I thought the Stars would be better this year, really this was based on my assumption that Kayla McBride would take the leap this year, but she didnt' look great against the Mercury.

I still can't trust the Sun, especially teams that can fill it up like CHI can.  Just don't think they'll hvae enough firepower or defense to keep up with a team like that.

Completely agree Blocks about the Kobe feeling. Its like they don't get along with her or something. Definitely some issues with this team. To lose at home vs a depleted Sun team and also lose on the road vs a re-vamped Liberty team is just crazy given the Dream's roster. Maybe tomorrow is their break out game but I would like to see how this team will play against the likes of Shock and Lynx. They may struggle against Western teams if they can beat Eastern teams at all.

ATL's halfcourt offense is lacking but a poor shooting % in two games doesnt worry me that much.

theyre giving up too many points and not getting enough transition off of misses. that concerns me.

if they dont right the ship against SA, it could be a rough 3 game in 4 night stretch

I know. I don't blame you. I am giving them one more shot. I mean now they are in dire straights. They don't right the ship now. I give up. I think they will... even with angel being a diva. There is too much talent there. They got to be scared sh*tlwss right now Now or never. I am doing it.

Hey Aussie hope all is well buddy.

I think there is good value on the Liberty getting points at home vs Mercury.Phoenix won their home opener and now must beat a Liberty team who showed alot of heart coming back vs the Fever the other night.

I'm leaning Sun, Stars and Liberty. I might pull my 3 team 8 point teaser out the dusty drawer for these...or use the lynx for one leg

Loving the lynx tomorrow. Moore is on another level ad with the amount of travel the storm has done for two games is beyond a joke.

I want to pull the trigger on the liberty but not sure ATM. Also liking the stars and dream over, both teams could score last year and while the dream have struggle to score this year I think tomorrow the focus that they will/should be playing with will help get buckets.

no error nor misprint.
The number i wrote yesterday was the number of the opening odds made by the famous (here in europe) english bookmakers marathonbet. This book is known to be often one of the first book, if not the first overall, to put put the odds in many discipline. And in wnba is the same. The liberty ml open as 5.80 yesterday at around 6.00 central europe time...during the day slowed down to 2.14....same thing with the points: the first line, made at around 6.00 am,  was the written liberty + 7, and during the day the spred slowed down to + 2,5

About the games, i have to think too...

I liked very much lynx yesterday at the early line (i took a little) but now i have to think a little...ok storm are not in form and tired...now at 11,5 the lynx can cover at the same...if want, lynx can win at home by 20 or more...but is always risky to take this spread of 11,5 at beginning....

Same thing with the liberty...hope too the points go up...


no trust too atlanta...want to see more game of this girls before to put money...

the spread of connecticut is quote the same of yesterday and is a big number of a home dogs...the suns have made a very good game on sunday...the sky many times is not very good far away from home....remember thsi many times last years


want to think a little more before to pull the trigger but with these lines, for me, may be the choices or lynx or sun

Now at home...i thought all the morning and find lynx -12,5.....1 point more than this morning....

No like big spread but lynx at home are strong and can win by 20 against a poor and tired seattle...lost by 23 against tulsa 2 days ago

Hey Gents,

Look forward to your final calls on WNBA in the morning (Oz time).

I know little on the W, but respect and enjoy the level of analysis and experience brought to this forum on it.  

Curious whether anyone has a strong feel on NBA match?  Seems hard to go against Dubs ML (and likely the spread, but still... 1.67 for ML vs. 1.92 -2.5...).  I like the Under early, especially 1Q.

Yo Erich. I like the dubs to win and have got the ml in a multi (parlay). However I have played for/against the warriors 9 times this series in various ways and only capped the Houston blow out in game 4 correctly. All my games I've played on the warriors to win they have lost so maybe it's best to go against. My reasoning for gsw though is I think Barnes/green/bogut are the real X factors of the series and I expect Barnes and/or green to have a good game tomorrow which should push them over the line along with currys you would think inevitable shooting % increase.

NYL TT 36.5o Medium. I dont see Phoenix keeping this low. Liberty can score a little now but get a little  tired in second half from what I have seen. Safer bet

SEA-MIN 74o 1H medium. No way Sea comes out flat and defensive after scoring like 2 points the last game against Tulsa in the first half. And no way Min doesn't score.

Joe, GL with the bets. Minny can take it easy in some 1Hs in the reg. season. The coach knows how to pace them, but I hope you are right and Storm does indeed decide to run today.

I am just curious, is anybody using WNBA instant access ? How is that working out for you this season ?

I like the Liberty at home. With that being said, looks like a nice double up protection opportunity with Mercury on a b2b. Can anyone see this current Mercury team without DT and Griner winning back to back games on the road? Will double up on Indy tomorrow if Liberty lose...
