Will take that loss as a very valuable lesson, don't take Dream no matter what. Absolute headcase of a team. At one stage there were 5 straight turnovers for them in the 3Q and then the score just blew out. Moving on.

Have to open this thread now as the Mystics vs Aces game starts in 6 hours from now (2am Sydney time) so not sure if I stay up to watch it. Lines should be out soon I hope. 

Mystics vs Aces

Mystics injury list took another blow with Peddy questionable for this game. They signed Stella Johnson after the Sky released her. Only a rookie and didn't get much of a chance with the Sky but I feel as though Thibault has no other option but to play her some minutes. Powers is out apparently for another 10-14 days which is a massive blow. Since she got injured, they have struggled offensively. Leslie missed Thursday's game and is questionable for this game today. The Aces are fit and healthy and no injuries to report. Guessing the line will be Aces -8 and 170

Fever vs Sparks

The Fever are drowning right now with their schedule as they face another tough team. They played LA last week and lost and did not cover either. The Sparks are rolling right now and looking very dangerous. Even when Parker and Nneka have bad nights, others step up. Ruffin-Pratt is the only concern for the Sparks as she is GTD and the Fever are going to be without Vivians and Mavunga again. They are very thin still. Line should be Sparks -9 and 164

Lynx vs Liberty

Like I said yesterday, Fowles is out indefinitely which is a major loss and Carleton should get the start. The Liberty are just a team I cannot back (like the Dream now) as they are just a very young team being lead around the court but not so good experienced players. The last time the played, the Lynx also didn't have Fowles and Carleton had a career night. They did get Sims back bad she looked awful, didnt do much at all and I really hope Reeve just uses her off the bench because their guards are doing ok now. Liberty missing Ionescu and the Lynx missing Fowles and Johnson is questionable. Guessing the line will be Lynx -5 and 165.

I think LV will be favored by DD and I feel the lines in first and third games you peg like 6/7 points too high. I will be backing Libs I think if I get 7.

I agree with brutal about Vegas. I anticipate double digit opening line, 12.5 maybe? Getting bet up to 15 by tip. Mystics have lost three of the last four by 10 or more. Seems like Vegas has no reason not to blow mystics away. I might just take Vegas first half of it’s a small enough number as Washington has lost four of five in that dept also.

I take Aces any time against Washington with clueless guard from the Sun. She got lost some how, afraid to take a shot and no defense.

Minnesota Lynx vs New York Liberty: Lynx -7.5

Reeve surely wasn’t happy with her teams defensive efforts against the Aces. New York kept it close against the Fever but Fever 2nd worst in the league defensively, Lynx one of the top teams.

Clear indication this season with no home court advantage which teams are far superior then others when it comes to talent. 

Storm, Aces and the Sparks are above all the teams.

Lynx are doing great so far and their rookies are playing out of their minds right now. Yet, they struggle against West teams as they are 0-3 against the West with an average losing margin of 17 yet they are 7-0 vs the East. 

Then you have the middle pack of Mercury, Sun, Wings, Mystics and the Fever. These teams will fight it out for the bottom seeding in the playoff hunt. 

Then the lottery teams, Dream and Liberty are just there for the experience and going through the motions. 

Almost half way through already, with teams having played 10 games. 

The playoff's stay the same this season, with the elimination games between 5 vs 8 and 6 v 7. 

The winners then go onto play 3rd and 4th whilst 1 and 2 sit on the sidelines waiting to see who they play.
