Sharp’s Unconventional - June 21

YTD:  1-4-1, -$340

Had three wins ripped away late in Q4 on Sunday (Phoenix x2 and the Over 157 in Connecticut/LA).  Such is life in the WNBA!

Picks don’t come any more unconventional than the league’s worst team whose banged up against the league’s best team who is healthy and has absolutely run over their opponents in the second half of the last two games.

So sign me up for Phoenix +19.5 at -110!

Yikes another loss on a hook (though frankly it didn’t deserve to be this close to begin with).

Ya it really looked like Phoenix might get the back door. Aces were stuck on 98 for 3 minutes. Phoenix has yet to cover in a game they haven’t won. Can we fire Nygaard already? 

I think she’s liked more than we realize.  Navigated the Mercury into the playoffs last year despite all the BG being gone drama.  

They do look quite weak this year and even with a healthy roster I don’t think they’re doing much.  Maybe she will be let  go at season’s end.

 Big issue is Taurasi. She reminds me of what The Steelers went through with Roethlisberger before he retired. She's holding the team back in many different ways: financially she's taking up a lot of cap space, she's stalling a franchise rebuild which they desperately need, she's a huge defensive liability, and she disrupts the pace and flow of the offense. Without her they play much quicker and loose.

 Agree 100% and her three point shooting percentage is atrocious.
