Going to start a new thread with picks. We are missing a few of the mainstays for a few years ago like Aussie and Brutal so perhaps I can entertain a bit.
Anyways, this season I’m down $1,500 so far thanks for a bunch of losses on the Mystics, the Aces when on the road, some over/unders going sideways in the last minute and I can’t hit a middle to save my life. I’ve ignored improvement from the Fever. Basically I’ve just bet “what makes sense” and it hasn’t come close to working.
So forget all that. From now on I’m going to find counterintuitive plays and bet them and will post accordingly. Unit will be $100 or occasionally $200 if something seems very backwards. Let’s get started!
Seems like LA would be a good pick tonight. It’s only -5.5 at home against a team they outplayed for most of the game last Sunday. And LA’s confidence is high after handling Dallas with ease on Wednesday.
So hello Minnesota! One unit ($110 to win $100) on the Lynx +5.5 at -110.

43-34 LA at halftime and then a surprising turn of events and the Lynx win outright. Should have recommend the ML.
I do think Cheryl Reeve is a good coach. Two years ago they had an equally poor start and then ripped off something like 22 of 28. Obviously their roster was stronger back then but still this is a team to watch and when getting points they’ve covered their last four. Maybe taking points when they play will no longer be considered unconventional…
