Btw, I read recently that by far the most powerful Republican donor is this Las Vegas mogul whose pet project is to outlaw online gambling (right now, this is in some sort of grey legal area). Something to watch for, I guess, especially if Jeb Bush gets nominated.

Damn, should've taken Bengals 1q/1h. That line made no sense to me: a little punk rookie QB vs Dalton, and Dalton was almost a 3 point dog ???

Ax nope. Favors being out for the Jazz means big loss for them. Remember the Jazz/Nuggets game a few weeks back? In the 1st half, Nuggets were creaming the Jazz.

I am not saying Favors is not their best big man, but the team does not play well with him and Kantor starting. As for that particular game, who has not been creaming the Jazz in the 1Hs ? I think they are the worst 1Q team; frankly they pretty much always suck.

The Jazz are by far the worst 1H team this year with a -8.1 pts differential, WOW ! I knew they were bad, but that bad ?! Maybe hippies 1q/1h is indeed the play. Even if they will be sleepwalking, the Wiz might be up by 20+ at the HT.

Can't decide between Villanova-17 and GSW-5.5 as my best bet. But I'll go with GSW-5.5 (best bet) we all know that the Pelicans won't be stopping this streak. That honor has the biggest chance of going to the Grizzlies. But will the Pellies cover? Doubt it. Again, go with under in this match.

Colts-7
KC-10.5 (late post)
NE-7.5 (late post)
SD/Den U49 (lots of injuries to key players means more clock burning to setup more plays)
DetLions-7.5(hitting their stride)

Suns @ Thunder: Suns +6.5 (BEST BET)

Everyone is going to be all over the Thunder but its a bad spot for them up against a Suns team who are winless in their last 4 and need a win. I expect Thomas to have a better game this game as the Suns match up better with OKC then what they do with the Pistons. Dragic and Bledsoe will be kicking themselves for their loss against the Pistons and I think they can keep it close with the Thunder.. Maybe zig zag theory as well, Pistons beat Suns, Thunder beat Pistons, Suns beat Thunder??? Maybe...

Cowboys @ Eagles: Over 55

Line was 55-56 in game 1 on Thanksgiving and went under with only 43 points. Vegas hasn't moved the line. I will take the bait and play the over because I don't see Romo only hitting 10 points again and Sanchez has done alright since taking over apart from last week vs the Seahawks but the Seahawks were pumped for that game.
