Ind -3 33 bagger I hesitate laying such a large play on this game but I feel for me this is the best value right now and here's why: Chi may be a team of destiny but it's a very tall order to go on the road in the playoffs and have 3 consecutive wins, no matter how good you are that's a big ask. Atl was scoring at will against Chi scoring 8 out of 10 qtrs over 20pts before they imploded in the 2H. Indy likes to run a bit to but the BIG difference is that Indy can play some serious lock down defense whereas Atl could not. Chi is not suddenly going to find defense on the plane to Indy and if they even remotely give up 24pts per qtr they are done son. If Fever build a lead they can protect it, if Indy is down they can come back with stifling defense, more importantly for me is if Chi gets down big like they have a tendency to do there ain't going to be no miracle 17pt comeback this game.  A rested Dunn team is a dangerous animal and I think they will simply impose their will with their bigs on Chi. If ever there was a letdown game this would be it for Chi: going to Atl and getting a last shot win, coming home and getting run out of their own building then going on the road again and manning up for the biggest comeback in WNBA history, tanks are empty at some point next game. Both have the proclivity to get to the FT line so I like the over 146 as well but I really like Indy to force a 33-17qtr and take control at some point. If Chi can go into Indy and stay within the number or steal a game I'll tip my hat to them and lose graciously but I feel the Fever will show Chi what a good defense is all about.

Sup fellas. I feel like from now on, I will try to stick posting only in Aussie's threads, as usual. Just look at the disaster in Atlanta that happened after I posted my initial lean to early. I think Atlanta -3 was still the play, EDD and Atlanta's collapse be damned. That turned a +6u night into a -6u night.

This forum has indeed been pretty awesome, in large part because of Wagers and Aussie. Wagerman has been just incredible all in all, and Aussie is not only a great capper himself but he also keeps the positive vibes going day in and day out. And other threads, especially lately, have been pretty informative.

Anyway, lotsa ifs on Friday. Will BG be as dominant as she was in LA ? Will the refs call the obvious fouls or will they let the game turn into a slugfest the way they did in the GM3 of the reg. season ? Is DT really the best player in World ? Will Augustus keep hitting impossible shots ? Hmm. My initial leans are Minny +5 and under 160, but I am not so sure, especially on the under. I'll be rooting for the Mercs of course, no matter how much I like Whalen.

As for the game in Indy, I am glad to see Wagers is on Fever. I think they will try to greet the Sky with a big friendly punch in the gut early on. Rust and (old) bones might be an issue of course, still I am leaning Fever -2.5, -1.5 1H, and overs 1q/1h. The main issue for Indy might be their bench guards, Clarendon and Lucas are scaring the bejesus out of me; almost as much as EDD. Fever do like to run, especially in the 1H; and seeing Atlanta's success with that tactics, I think they might just try to replicate it. I only hope they will not stop too early, the way the Dream did in the 2H of GM3. Both teams have issues with depth though, and the 2H might turn into a virtual standstill. We'll see.

It will be also interesting to see, who is more untouchable for the refs: Catch or EDD ? Both of them have been getting lots and lots of questionable calls in their favor in the first round. I sure hope Catch will win that battle, especially at home in GM1.

Both GM1s will be pretty, pretty interesting. Too bad these are only best of three series.

Thank you for the kind words everyone..I just truly believe that covers is a great site and get abused to often by negativity and trolling when it should purely be used for helping each other out. People need to wake up sometimes and realise that every gambler, even the pro's have cold streaks and that is why money management IMO is so vital in this game.

Basketball is not my speciality area but value is. I'm in Europe so have access to better future markets than the US.

I was on the Spurs last season at 7/2 before the playoffs because it was a half point arb on the exchanges. After they won I read a small article about what would happen to certain NBA teams outright prices if Lebron opted out and moved. I saw some ESPN hype that a move to Cleveland in 2015 was very likely. So as soon as Lebron opted out I gambled on the big numbers that he went home. I've got Cleveland at 50/1, 45/1 and 33/1 for the title and 25/1 and 14/1 for the East for €7.5k total for a €270 outlay.

So I'm a bit addicted to reading intelligent opinion on basketball so I can pick off good numbers. This forum is the best I've come across by a long way.

My thanks to all of you in this forum for the help and insight on games, players, etc.  All of the information proved extremely helpful and good luck to all of you in these last couple of games.
For now, its on to the NFL and NCAA FB,until the NBA gets up and running again.

I mean, I hope we can all contribute to crowded schedule in NBA under WNBA thread, this will be my first time, betting on NBA, looking at this forum, actually, in my 3 years of betting history (I guess might be one of shortest in this forum), best money I did is on NBA, and losing on soccer and tennis unfortunately, sticking to the point, I need to decide if I should bet to all teams, or a conference/division, or only handful of teams, personally I closely follow Rockets, and made good money by betting over to their games, but losing Parsons and Asik and getting Ariza, tells me they will be a better defensive team, but this year, I believe Rockets will be worse than last year, the team made an incredible run until Lillard's last milisecond shot (I am sure Wagers still remembers it ) but this year, things changed, and in short teams I am looking forward to bet this year are all in midwestern conference, no matter what, consistently I will lay bags to all of their games, also for NFL, if some consider betting it, consistently I will bet against Texans this season, because I believe they will repeat similar to what they have done last year

ok, now when we turn to current wave, I may lay 5 bags max moneyline to Min, I hope Aussie is right, and Min +5 comes, as well as spread decreases by tipoff tomorrow, which will make me feel better for moneyline, I didn't like how Phx reacted to comeback by LA in 1st game, Phx sometimes lose their speed especially in 3rd quarters and if that happens, then it will be too late against Min

Guys also, we should think about betting world championship, starting in 2 days, there are some good juices waiting for us there, i hope it will be a nice tournament, in lack of wnba games, if series dont go to 3 or later 5 games

For world championship, like Ax pointed out, Spain might be the best team to easily win every game against the spread, until final, which everyone expects them to play with USA, i checked schedule, they cant meet before final, assuming they finish their teams in 1st spot of course, which will be

Just want to say that I enjoy this forum and I've learned so much about the WNBA in less then half a season. I've actually watch a few of the playoff games and really enjoyed it.

I will be here through the NBA season and I know NBA more than WNBA. I can't see Cleveland not going through the East if they stay healthy. George being out for the season really hurts Indiana's chances and Miami without Lebron aren't the same team.

Let's Go Aussie ! I also hope we all win and the game is just as entertaining.  I believe it's going to take DT to override the MVP BIG TIME for PHX to win the game.  The role players on PHX will not abuse MIN's role players like they did to LAS. 

USA and Spain cannot meet until the final game period; they are on the different sides of the bracket, the East and West conferences if you wish. The East conference is significantly weaker, especially now that Lithuania has lost its captain to an injury; the West (Spain et al) is loaded so Spain will have a more difficult schedule and that should help team USA a lot. Anyway, I have not checked the NBA forum yet; there might be some intelligent conversations there, although I doubt it. My advice is if you have not followed FIBA before, take it slow. That game and tourney is very different from the NBA/WNBA bball and upsets are easier to come by (think NCAA).

I think team USA will make to the final with a >95% certainty, there are just no strong teams on that side, now that Lithuania has a hole at the SG spot. The other side has some quality teams, most notably Spain, France & Greece, still Spain is very loaded, playing at home and they will probably make it to the final too with a 90% certainty. I have no idea what the spread for that potential final will be. I gotta say that team USA roster is weak, the only problem is that lots of good foreign NBA players are also skipping this tourney, think Parker, Ginobili, Mills, Noah. France with Parker, Noah, Batum could have been a strong contender. But Spain is fully loaded and supermotivated.

Actually, forgot about Brazil with Nene, Varejao, Splitter and Barbosa; but their other guards are pretty weak and more importantly they have limited outside shooting (just like team USA, with Curry et al. shooting about as well Maggie Lucas right now). Still they can beat up on Spain. Spain has the best frontcourt with Gasols + Ibaka; and Rubio is not even their best FIBA guard; they have good domestic guards who rock the FIBA game, plus Rudy Fernandez. To sum that rant up, I am not going to go big on FIBA WC; I do have some futures pending but nothing big.
