Finally, a 6 day stretch of games this week. Like I said the other day, we have the next 4 weeks to enjoy a pretty full on schedule. The Storm have an interesting week this week, playing the Lynx, Sun and Sparks. Hoping that Alyssa Thomas returns this week for the Sun because they aren't even done with this crazy road trip. Play tonight at Washington which is their 5th road game in a row, they head back tomorrow to face the Fever on zero days rest before heading back out on the road for 4 a crazy west coast trip in which they play every 2nd night after they start that trip. Brutal scheduling for them but you know whats great, is that once they get this West coast trip out of the way, they will have already played 13 road games and only have 4 left whilst having a crazy 12 home games left which means if they need to make up some ground they have important home games to do that.
Mercury take on a terrible Liberty side who scored 54 points the other day? Thats crazy when you think about a pro ball team scoring that much. I know the Sparks D is good and in your face but 54 points in 40 mins of basketball? Maybe Katie Smith isn't the answer. Charles doesnt look happy at all either. Mercury on the other hand got bounced pretty easily by the Sky who welcomed back Dolson in that game. Nice move by Stocks to actually play her best players. They need wins and with Dolson back, the Sky could push for that 8th spot potentially. Mercury needing a win as well, they haven't been good the last few games. After this game they play the Fever so they could pick up 2 handy wins in a row if they can get their act together.
Wings take on Sparks in what should be a good game, Sparks have that 20+ point loss fresh in their mind from last week. Interesting game. Sparks D is legit and they are playing really well. Wings playing well also but haven't been impressive this year on the road. LA is a tough place to get a win and I just don't see it happening for the Wings.
Storm @ Lynx another good quality game with both teams in fine form. Lynx have found their mojo and the Storm are balling big time with Hughes as coach. Stewart leading the league in points and has become unstoppable pretty much. Fowles is going to have a handful with Stewart.
No lines out for me yet but I can see a few already.
Looks as though Mercury are -3.5 @ Liberty and total 156.5
Storm are +6 @ Lynx and total 165.5
Wings are +9.5 @ LA and total of 163.5
No lines yet for the Sun @ Mystics game.
BOL everyone..

Thanks for everything and keep up the great capping.
Kush, the injuries are mostly the long term ones that I posted previously. Coleman is out for the Liberty with an ankle injury. No other injuries I know about mate concerning these games. Clark may play for the Storm. She will be a GTD as well as Alyssa Thomas for the Sun.

scalbroni69 - Relax, I didn’t ask for your opinion. I saw a huge write up and no official play, I didn’t know if he was playing anything or taking the day off. There were 4 games and two are off the board and didn’t want to miss anything like I did Sunday. He had over 164.5, I didn’t see it right away and had over 165.5 and it landed on 165.

If the Storm are the real deal this season then they need to show it against the Champs. Lynx have been very impressive the last few games against Aces, Mercury and the Wings but Storm are a different team compared to those. Howard returns to her old team, that may hurt Minny. Clash of the old guards, Bird vs Whalen should be good but you would have to say that Bird is in better form. Taking the Storm tonight because I think they can really make this a game and keep it very close.

This was also the bet pre-bet I liked the most today. To add something, MIN are getting all their differences when starters on court. And losing almost all the partials when a bench player is in. Considering they played on Sunday we have some fatigue factor that should benefit SEA

Thanks Kush. Massive difference in time zones. Put it this way, it’s still morning right near in Sydney, exactly 11.40am and we are already 3 games down..
Seattle showed their true colours today. Loyd pathetic but Stewart is their shining star. I have no idea what Reece said to her players last week but whatever it was it surely had worked. The Lynx playing amazing basketball off the back of Moore and Fowles..

Yes I know the Wings pumped the Sparks but 29 the other night and yes revenge is on their mind but to turn that around and win by double digits against the same team that was so dominate in the previous match up I believe is pretty tough ask. Cambage should beast, Skylar was pretty poor against the Storm the other night and I think the Wings are a good team that the Sparks may under-estimate.

Inexperienced in the final quarter ruined the win for the Wings tonight. They just can’t seem to get those important road wins against decent opposition. Nneka was a late injury as well which I have no idea why she missed the game. Will take the split today.
Tomorrow everyone
