No ladies today, they get a well deserved day off. After tomorrow's games we will be half way through the season. For me, the surprise package so far is the Lynx. I did not think that they would be so good. I did write the other day they are 0-3 against the West and now 8-0 against the East so they do have a tough remaining schedule coming up. See how long they can last without Fowles. The letdown so far for me is the Wings, I really thought Agler had a good squad and they got a massive win yesterday vs the Mercury, so that might be the catalyst they needed to make a charge for a decent seeding spot. I still think they can finish 5th or 6th.
A little interesting news, the Sun has waived Gemelos and picked up Carson from Mystics. Mystics also waived Peddy and the Aces waived Megan Huff who they only signed last week. Now this is some interesting movement by the Mystics. Apparently Thibault has announced that they are already planning on next season. Seems a bit quick to already count this season as a loss. Still 12 games to go and can make the playoffs. Be weary when backing the Mystics moving forward. The Fever has signed Alisia Jenkins as Vivians has left the bubble to get her knee looked at and they are still missing Wheeler and Mavunga so makes sense bringing in another player.
Sun vs Fever
Hard game to cap even with no line. I think Indy might be a small fav if not a PK in this game. Sun are just a poor team and will be lucky to make the playoffs, they are just lucky that two of the bottom four spots will be Dream and Liberty so they might just squeeze in. Bonner is cold, their bench is weak and their coach is a nutjob on the sidelines. At least Indy has an offense but they have a terrible defense and still missing some players. Its their first meeting in the bubble and I and with Carson being signed, she might be able to play straight away. Indy missing those players I mentioned above so they will have 10 players for tomorrow. Line im guessing is PK and 168.
Sky vs Aces
Revenge for the Aces? Lost that game they should have won against the Sky. Why can't the Sky hold onto the ball properly? They just turn it over off some silly mistakes and passing. They have the players, they just need to calm down and take their time when they have the ball in their hands. Good to see Dolson back in the line-up. Both teams have no new injuries I am aware of. The line should be Aces -5 and 171
Storm vs Liberty
Well this line could break WNBA records. I would be surprised if this is under -20. The first line was -13.5 and thats because it was the opening game of the new season and the books for some reason really believed that this Liberty team would be decent. Their win totals for this season was 12.5 which is insane even with Sabrina. I wish my books here in OZ gave win totals for the season but they didn't. No injuries that I am aware off apart from the same as last game, Prince is out and Tuck is a GTD. My guess would be Storm -22 and 160 total.
BOL everyone.

Oh Aussie -22??!! I am all over Libs then like a short stay hooker but what the hell do I know Brutal .
you have bigger balls then me Joe. The line in their first match-up was around -11.5 and got to -14 and that included Sabrina. No Sabrina and this Liberty team is spiralling out of control. If this line isn't at last -18 I would b very surprised. I just cant back them. Nurse so cold, been cold for 6-9 months now. Their rookies are so hit and miss as well. The bench of the Storm could actually all start for the Liberty.

BigD and Gambit, cheers fellas. Just trying to get as much info to you guys as possible. I will admit, the information is a lot easier when the ladies are in the bubble compared to the usual season.

Sun -4.5 and 164.5 total. Very surprised to see the Sun as a fav here IMHO. But this season, teams who are fav's coming off a dog loss have bode very well the next game. Will see where that line moves throughout the day and if any injuries come up.

Sun have won 3 of 4 with that loss to Seattle and a nice win over the Sky. Indiana has done an average job or below this season with the last 3 contests being 2 ats losses and a push against the Liberty. That being said IMO tonight is a play on the Fever.
Nothing is ever in the bank until it is in the bank

I think the Fever are a live dog today ...and I searched but could not find, a reason to take NY + the points. Seattle is a machine right now
Very hard to take the Liberty when you look at their roster mate. Nurse is cold, Clarendon is 50/50, Zahui B shows up once very 7 games and Stokes is just not in sync this year. Then you have their rookies and outside of Sabrina, I don't see much talent there. Jones is the one rookie which is stepping up a little since Sabrina left the bubble but its a pretty horrible looking roster. Their TT is at 69.5 today, which is quite low but I wouldn't be surprised if they score in the 50's today and the Storm 80's. I just don't like laying such large chalk in case of a dirty backdoor cover. BOL mate and great run

The line has changed to suns -5 , with my book. Storm -18. Any thought aussie ? I'm liking Lv -3 against chicago.
Everyday life caught up on me and didn't get enough time to look at the Suns/Fever game. My post above replying to Parlaid is my thoughts about the Storm game so I am only eyeing off that Sky/Aces game for today. Not a high volume bettor.

Oz you got a SDQL on WNBA teams favored by 15+pts and how it affects the over/under? I'd think most go under....
Sure do buddy, but only goes back to 2011.
Favs of -15 or more has gone 22-19 to the under with an average scoreline of 86-71.
The Storm has the best D in the league right now, allowing 93.1 points per 100 possessions and the Liberty has the worst offense, scoring just 90.1 points per 100 possessions. The girls don't get 100 possessions per game, the Storm has around 78.7 possessions per game and the Liberty around 81.4.

I’ll definitely check it out. I like researching and I love basketball so it should keep me interested. Thanks for being so generous with your efforts to this forum with team and player news.

That was an awful defense by the Aces avoiding overtime and a possible over game
Yep was not good at all mate... Their 3Q was even worse. A team of that strike power should not be scoring 12 points in a quarter. Put that into perspective, the Liberty just scored 12 points in the 2Q vs the Storm. It was just an awful 3Q by them which killed the over for us.
