 Liberty @ Wings: Over 163

Howard now probable to play. Wings flying at 4-0 without Arike which is amazing for them and their confidence. Last game just creeped over and landed on 163 (total was 161.5). Liberty has scored just 61, 64 and 77 in their last 3 games. Before those games, they scored 102, 89, 81 and 83 so I do think they get back to form and hit 80+ and the Wings also. The last game saw a slow pace, Liberty took just 62 attempts so hopefully Brondello realises that the slow game didn’t work work and tells her gals to up the tempo. Shooting was around 46% combined with 19/52 three pointers made between the two teams. Free throws saw 26/32 which was also fairly decent as well. I do expect the Liberty to get closer to 70 attempts and the Wings to follow as they have clinched a playoff spot and are 2-1 up in the series against the Mercury but they do have another game against them next so that could be a look ahead spot

 Tough is an understatement. Wings scored 31 in first 10 mins and follow that up with just 42 points in 30 mins.

So that win for Minny now sets up a massive last few days in the league. 

Tomorrows clash between Aces and the Sky is huge as well. Hamby gone for 2-3 weeks and that makes the Aces really thin. 

1. Sky

2. Aces 

3. Sun (cannot move from 3rd)

4. Storm (will finish 4th or 5th)

5. Mystics (only finish 4th or 5th)

6. Wings (cannot move from 6th)

7. Lynx (can miss playoffs)

8. Dream (can miss playoffs)

9. Liberty (can make playoffs)

10. Mercury (can make playoffs)

11. Sparks (still alive somehow)

12. Fever (eliminated)

Lynx, Mercury, Dream and Liberty all at 14-18 with two games to play.

Lynx play at home to Seattle and @ Sun

Mercury play at home to Dallas and at home to Sky

Dream and NY play a double header against each other, first in Atlanta and the next in NY. That is going to be exciting 

Sparks play tomorrow at home against Sun again and then at home to Dallas who might play their B team as they have already clinched and cannot move from 6th. 

So the Aces are 2-1 over the Sky this season..

Sky are 25-9, the Aces 24-10.

If Aces win tomorrow, they will be tied and Aces would hold the tie breaker 3-1.

If the Sky wins, they would keep 1st seed and have a 26-9 record whilst the Aces would be 24-11 and not able to catch the Sky.

I made an error above, the Sun can catch the Aces. If the Aces lose tomorrow and lose again to the Storm, they would finish on 24-12.

If the Sun beat LA followed by Minny, they would end up in 2nd with a 25-11 record. 

If the Aces win tomorrow, Sun will not be able to catch them as the Aces hold the tie breaker over the Sun.
