The Mystics have brought Alecia "Sug" Sutton into the bubble to fill a spot. They have 10 players now on their roster and sit with a 3-7 record after starting the season 3-0. No idea why Thibault is waiving the season goodbye, i guess when you dont have your to star players and its a really strange season you just cant your loses and move on.
Mystics vs Dream
Can't say much about this match-up and I don't think I will be touching it at all. Two weeks ago, it would have been a good game to look forward to but now its not. For Mystics, Powers is out and Leslie is GTD. Sutton surely has to go through quarantine and self isolation for a week or so before she can play so if Leslie is out, Mystics might have just 7 players for tomorrow's game. They are playing the Dream so they can probably handle it. Carter is the only player that I know who is out for this game for the Dream. Not going to say much more about this game, line might be PK and 165.
Sparks vs Mercury
Now this is a better game to watch. Sparks flying high, they have a chance to go into 2nd spot with a win after the Aces lost vs Chicago. Mercury coming off that really poor game vs the Wings. Looking at Mercury's final run home and they have a chance of putting themselves in a very good position because after this game, they have the Lynx (no Fowles), Mystics, Sun, Mystics, Lynx, Aces, Fever, Liberty, Sun and then the Storm. Looking at that, they could go 7-8 wins in their last 10 games. Not a bad effort and that could really boost them from their 6-5 record. Crazy to be talking about the playoffs already but we are now 11-12 games in on a 22 game season so wins are vital especially if teams want a top 4 finish. For the Sparks, Ruffin-Pratt is the only player currently a GTD and the Mercury are healthy with no injuries. The last meeting was an absolute smashing by the Sparks, was close until the 3Q and the Sparks pulled away. Line might be Sparks -5 and 170 total.
Lynx vs Wings
This game has me intrigued. The Wings got a great win vs Mercury and the Lynx easily put away the Liberty but so could an under 11's basketball team right now. Lynx are 0-3 vs West, 8-0 vs East so this is a good test. In saying that though, their 3 losses came against the Sparks, Storm and Aces so tough teams. For Lynx, Fowles is out and Banham GTD, as for the Wings they will be without Sabally and Jefferson still. If Agler sticks to the same starting line-up as he did against the Mercury, the Wings have a chance. Guessing line will be Lynx -4 and 162.
