Chicago Sky @ Minnesota Lynx: Lynx -12.5

Too much on the line for the Lynx tonight. The Sky are a team running low on gas big time. Their starters are playing some big mins lately and I expect that to wear thin tonight against the Lynx needed a win and hopefully a big win to stay ahead of the Sparks for the overall seed.

so as it stands... I don't think the Dream are going to come back in this game vs the Sparks and win and neither will the Sun..

So....

1. Lynx
2. Sparks
3. Liberty
4. Sun
5. Mystics
6. Mercury
7. Wings
8. Storm
9. Sky

Dream will be eliminated after this game and going off what Portugeezer raised the other day in regards to tie-breaker, the Liberty own that over the Sun so now the Sun drop to 4th and Liberty leapfrog into 3rd.

Mystics win places them at 18-15 and they are in 5th but the Mercury has the tie-breaker over them so after the Mercury win this game vs the Sun, they go to 17-16 with 1 game to go against the Dream and the Mystics travel to Lynx to play them so with the Lynx still needing a win to hold down top spot, it looks as though the Mystics will drop to 6th if the Mercury can beat the Dream.

The Wings host the Liberty and are currently 16-17 whilst the Storm are 14-19 so the Wings cannot go higher or lower with a win or loss vs the Liberty. They will hold down 7th spot. The Storm has also clinched 8th spot because the Sky lost and the Dream will lose this game vs the Sparks.

So if everything goes to plan, 1st round will be

Wings @ Mystics
Storm @ Mercury

Great first round and really a toss of the coin IMHO. Wings have been playing solid and have a 2-1 record this season against Washington and have won both games in Washington. The Storm also have a good record vs the Mercury this season going 1-2  but only losing those 2 games by 3 and 4 points and both losses were at home and the other game was a big win in Phoenix. Going to be a great opening round with the 2 winners advancing to play the Sun/Liberty in Round 2 which will also be a single elimination game.
