No way do we see the Mystics shoot to poorly from behind the arch. The Storm had home court advantage behind them which helped them with intensity which flowed on to help them defend well. They also played a little slower. Thibault needs to get his girls to run and play furious because they can’t defend as well as The Storm. In order to win this game the Mystics need to put up a big score rather than the last 2 attempts we have watched. Even the Storm are winning down the stretch as well but it remains a close game, fouling will be massive as we have seen many times before in WNBA finals final game.

Thanks Wagers. Was nice to hit a winner to end the season. EDD wasn't 100% all series long and Toliver was just being Toliver. She had 2 crucial turnovers when they got it within 5 points (72-67) and then off those 2 turnovers it went from 5 points to a 10 point game which basically deflated the little run the Mystics had going.
It was a fun season, long off-season now. NBA about a month away. Seattle deserved to win it, had a great reg-season and Howard IMHO was a quiet MVP contender. Signing of the season and the Lynx will surely be angry about letting her go.

great finish! the pace really picked up in the 2nd half and lots of fouls which helped stopping the clock while adding points at the free throw line...always good for helping the over the total bettors like tonight...
lol!! yeah, i don't say much on here...actually i tried one time a while ago, but when i typed a comment in the box and clicked submit nothing happened, so i thought it was a problem with my computer, and i just never tried again until recently....so now i know it works, i will be try to be more communicative...and congrats to your pick tonite and great wnba season! and congrats to the seattle storm, a real team effort and good sportsmanship both during and after the game too...look forward to next wbna season..

So my calender is pretty compact all year round but definitely do NBA. Also NFL, CFL, and of course the WNBA.
For the NBA, I am high on OKC this season now they got rid of Melo Unfortunately my Rockets picked him up. Just read though, Westbrook may miss the start of the season after having a minor surgery, he will be assessed in 4 weeks time.
There is another forum on covers called "other pro basketball' where I spend a lot of time from October to February because the Australian Basketball is about to start and I cap both men and women's leagues. Some WNBA players head down to Oz to spend the summer time here and the schedule isn't as gruelling as the WNBA is for them (or Europe).

Season starts in a months time.
Schedules are out, Bogut is back in Sydney and the Kings look primed to win it this season as the combinations look good. Randle/Lisch as guards dishing it to Bogut who looks really healthy right now. Great season ahead for the Kings IMHO.
