I'm anticipating backing the Lynx against the Liberty today. Minnesota last played Saturday and lost at home to LA. New York upset Las Vegas on Sunday to halt a franchise-worst 17-game losing streak. So it's a good spot for Minnesota.
The Lynx is far superior defensively to the Liberty. This is Minnesota's first game without its popular rookie Shepard, who suffered a torn ACL in the loss to LA.
The Liberty could be mius Brina Hartley, who is tied for their team lead in assists. She's leaving to play for France in a Euro tournament.
