New season is upon us and we have a tough card on Friday night. For those who have followed me on covers, I don't play too many games if I don't like the lines or what I see but there is one line that has stood out to me which I personally think provides some value tonight and that play is;
Indiana Fever @ New York Liberty: Over 158.5
The Liberty haven't changed much in the new season but they have brought in their draft picks, in particular Asia Durr. She looks great and loves to play fast paced. Charles will always give you points and after watching what Kia Nurse did in Oz only month ago, I think she has a breakout year this season. On the other end, Fever look ok, still will be down towards the bottom but Pokey allowed them to put up the 2nd most shots last season (71 attempts) and this team is stronger than last with Laney expected to really step up her game and seeing that they are only taking one true centrein the season, I think we see them put up a lot of 3's an in this case, I hope they land so we get a high scoring game.
BOL everyone.

Looking forward to this season, I thinks its going to be a very hard capping season with so many top players either out with injury or sitting out with rest/pregnancies.
Then we also have Eurobasket players coming and going, so during that period of time the teams can suspend those players who are going to Eurobasket and then they can sign other players to fill those positions. By memory, I think the Liberty were the worst with 3-4 players going to Eurobasket and thats why I think they kept their training camp quite large until the final cut so the players could all get a good 2 weeks with each other.

Always a pleasure Spottie. I hope you are well mate.
Just some news for tomorrow's game with Seattle and Phoenix.
We all know that Sue Bird and Stewart are out, but also Alysha Clark and Sami Whitcomb will be out as they just finished off their season in France and are heading back to the US now.

They actually played against each other I think 2 nights ago in the France Finals but yeah, its just nuts how they go from one season to another but its the way they make their living.
