When my lines have differed from Vegas'....most of Vegas lines have moved towards mine. Whether this can be used to make money is still to be determined.
Home team listed first
June 21
Dallas -6 San Antonio
SA's number one pick is looking like a bust. I have a (basketball) crush on Skylar-Diggins.
June 23
New York even Connecticut
I probably will be backing the Sun until something shows me otherwise...... they are a stud team and they get time to digest the big-time upset of the Lynx.
Atlanta -7 Sky
The Sky looks like they are unbackable...maybe when Vandersloot comes back I could think about putting a ducket on them. In Cappy I I certainly don't trust, 3-13 from the floor against the Fever....Dolson according to the stat sheet only managed to foul 3 times....that has to be an error.
Minnesota -9 Washington
Lynx will come out with fire in their eyes....they will thrash someone in their next couple of games.
San Antonio +3 Dallas
Home dogs have been pathetic this year with the exception of the Fever...waiting until August before I'd take a home doggie again....learned the hard way.
Seattle -2 Phoenix
I am going through an ugly divorce with the Mercury, it's messy and I never want to see them again.
June 24
Fever +3 Sparks
Fever turn into Godzilla at home.....they did it once to the Sparks, I think they can do it again.
June 25
Wings +3 Sun
Can Skylar kill the beasts? Maybe she'll bring a slingshot or two
Chicago +6 Washington
If Washington gets thrashed by the Lynx, you would not make this number high enough to get me off of them versus the Sky.
Minnesota -15 Stars
You could give me +25 with the Stars,...I still wouldn't be interested.

Opening lines have arrived at BOL, versus mine in brackets.
1) Dream -5 (-7)
2) LIberty -2 (pick)
3) Lynx -8- (-9)
4) Stars +2 (+3)
5) Storm -5 (-2)
Surprised the Storm opened so high, but I am off Mercury games, so I'm not playing that game. We'll see where the Dream and Liberty games head by the time pinnacle has their lines posted.

I suppose the linesmaker and me will agree to disagree. Sun the superior team this year, and this line is obviously based on the LIberty's reputation and not on what has transpired on the court this year. Realize that Liberty has revenge....I don't think they have the team that can beat the Sun this year.
2) Dream -6
I'll fade and if I have to, chase against the Sky indefintely.
The Mystics have a very good angle supporting them,...I am mulling over whether I want to go against the mighty Lynx after a loss.
Mercury also has a good angle....I have my white angel on one shoulder telling me,.....
"Now Indigo, you've told yourself you're forever off the Mercury, I expect you'll honor your promise."
Dark angel on the other shoulder saying, "Come on man, look at those chicks, Taurasi and Griner will be firing tonight!! The Mercury will be stomp 'em."
I am going to peace out and see if any enlightened vision comes to me regarding the Storm/Mercury......

I'll keep backing them, even though they had a tough time disposing of the Stars last time out. Gloria Johnson basically took the game over and get her team the win....I think she gets help in this game from Diggins and Pleaance who both had a quiet game last time out.

Some people, maybe with deep pockets are betting the Sky? I will believe it when I see it, that they can play with teh Dream,...it's gotten bet down to -3-,
I have half a unit on -4 and the other half on -6.
The Sky??!! The only thing I could imagine is that Pondexter has either been cut or is she is out with injury.
The LIberty has been bet up to 4-,.......THAT maybe I could see as they are a gritty team with a lot of pride and the Sun crushed them last time they played.
Lynx bet up to 9-, ok no biggie.
Dallas bet up to -3, down from 3-...that one I can see.
Then Seattle has been bet up to -5....that is crazy too...though perhaps someone knows that Danielle Robinson, the point guard of the Mercury will be out or severely limited......in her absence the Mercury point guard, Leilani Mitchell went 0-8 from the floor versus the Sparks as the Mercury got crushed. These two teams are about even in talent, so 5 is a lot. If Taurasi was out for this game I'd definitely bet ON the Mercury, but she is such an asset to the opposition most games that I can't play them. This, and the Sun/Liberty are the two most intriguing games on the board.
I have been in agreeance with most line moves this season....looks like now I'll be best to wait till game time to make plays, as these both opposite my data, and giving me greater line differential in my favor today for the first time.
We'll see whose money is smart today, the line movers, or me.

Yes, that is big......about 6 points/game improvement with her playing rather than Pondexter.
Trouble is, the Sky coach was playing Pondexter more than Vandersloot and then paired them together for long stretches of games, instead of sitting Pondexter down on the end of a very long bench.
If she hasn't figured out what the issue is with her team.....then there is very little hope for Amber Stocks as a head coach.

The Liberty has a guard coming back from injury, but Bentley is back for the Sun.
People are seeing something very different from what I've seen in this league so far this year to make the Liberty 4.5 point favorites.
It just goes to show, YOUR perception in YOUR reality, not somebody else's. Can we make money, that is the question, from our different perceptions?....we'll see.

Home dogs have continued their terrible pace with the Fever loss to the Sparks. Early looks for Sunday I like the Mystics and the Sun....Mystics off a terrible loss to the Lynx and Sky off surprising win versus the Dream....sets up nicely for the Mystics.
The Suns right now are equal to the Lynx as the best team in the league....if the Wings are to have a chance against the Sun, Gloria Johnson and Skylar Diggins will have to combine for at least 55 points. Sun will attempt to physically dominate the Wings with their superior athleticism,....Wings will try to make it a track meet. The problem is, the Sun are the best conditioned team in the league with a deeper bench than the Wings.
The Stars?....no hope against the Lynx...this team might win a game or two this year when they host the Fever, Dream or Sky, and that is it. The second team of the Lynx would beat the Stars. Not tempted even for a second to play the Stars, even acknowledging their previous cover this year at the Lynx when they came back from 25 down to get the cover at +15 at the buzzer on a banked straight-on free throw line jumper.

Completely agree with your verdict so far on the Sun team and I love the fact that Miller didn't through Bentley straight into the starting line-up and I hope it keeps it that way because maybe she will be hungrier off the bench to try and claim her starting position back. Why break something when its not broken right?
Agree with the Stars. Cannot take them in any game at all. They will be lucky to win more than 4 games this season.
The other game is a classic game, Mystics vs the Sky. Sky have basically their team back now with Vandersloot returning. The Mystics have looked out of sync lately and I think that win for the Sky would have done them a world of good right now but hey, it is the Sky against a powerhouse EDD who returns to her former team for another game in Chicago.
I am seeing the same lines you are right now as well. Will wait it out though..

The last time the Sun were road dogs they were laying -5 to the Stars.
This has very little to do with a letdown. If a letdown was to happen it would have been after the Lynx upset. This has everything to do with playing a better team and the highest road line they have ever faced, and playing a team that has a good chance to beat them.
I just saw your trend and commented because I liked it. You don't have to like my play. Most people don't
