This time next week, we will be capping the final day of the reg season. There is still so much what can happen though with seeding. The Aces took back 3rd spot with a big comeback win vs the Sparks. The aces are now 20-12 and the Sparks are 19-12. Sparks have a game in hand and Sparks has the tie-breaker due to having a better record against teams that finish above 500% but that could definitely change if the likes of Mercury and Storm fall under 500% for the season. Would have to double check to see how the Aces and Sparks have played against those teams.
Mercury @ Sky Mercury sit in 8th, with a 15-15 record and still have time to get into 5th or 6th spot. They need the Sky to lose and this game is crucial for them. If Sky win this game, they would be 19-13 with 2 games to go and the Mercury would be 15-16 with 3 games to go so the Mercury would miss out on 5th spot. They can however catch 6th spot with the Lynx sitting at 16-15 and have to play Fever, Mercury and the Sparks so its not out of the equation for Mercury. Some how though, they are winning games even though Taurasi is shooting 6.7% from the field. Yes, 6.7%, that isn't a typo. She is now 2-30 this season which is just insane. Can she turn it around against the Sky who really don't play much D. One of these games she will start hitting her shots and I am just not sure which game its going to be. The Sky were shocked by the Wings, losing S/U and couldn't stop Arike. The Sky are healthy minus Lavender, the Mercury are fit as well. The Sky have the Sun and Mystics after this game, so this is massive for the Sky. This is their last home game of the reg season before they play the Sun and Mystics on the road. Sky has won both games, 82-75 back in June and more recently 94-86 in Phoenix when Taurasi came back from her injury. The Mercury were cruising in that game and then the Sky had a massive 3Q and never looked back. Can they do it again? The line should be Sky -2 and 166
Fever @ Lynx Fever finally playing decent basketball, only took Pokey around 28 games before realising how good McCowan can be when given the opportunity. Surely the Fever sack Pokey after yet another bad season. The Lynx well they need a win in this game before they go on the road to Phoenix and LA. They are 1-1 this season vs the Fever, winning the first game 78-74 in Indy and then collapsing massively in the 2H to lose in Indy 86-75. That was Indy's biggest comeback in franchise history. By memory they were down by 27 points at one stage. I think Reeve will keep that fresh in the minds of her girls. Indy has listed Achonwa as GTD, the Lynx look to be all clear. I can't see Indy turning up with too much motivation in this game. Their last appearance on the road was a shock win in Seattle when they were getting +9, I think we see a similar line in this game, Lynx -9 and 156 total.
Dream @ Storm: What is going on with Seattle? They were doing so well for a team missing 2 of their starters. Seems as those the All-star break ruined their groove. They were 12-9 before that, and now 3-6 after that but I am being a little harsh because during those last 9 games they have faced, Mystics x2, Sparks, Sun x 2 and Lynx. They have beaten the Liberty and Wings in amongst that as well so having to play 5 games against the top teams is tough stretch. They now face the Dream and I cannot see how Seattle does not let out some frustration in this game to really smack the Dream out of the court. Seattle plays Mercury (seems as though everyone plays Mercury next week) followed by Sparks and then the Wings. Those are 3 straight road games though, so this is their last home game for the reg season. The Dream have nothing to play for, the can't even tank down further because they cannot go into 3rd spot for the draft as that is held by Dallas with 25 wins over the past 2 season. The tanking for top spot is underway with NY holding that with just 16 wins and the Fever with 17. Should be fun to see what those 2 teams do this week. The Storm were laying -8 last time they played Atlanta and the Dream came to play that night. It was probably their best game of the season as the Storm took an early 11-0 lead and then the Dream just caught on fire and never looked back. They won 77-66 that game but they still had motivation, that is now gone. Line should be around the same, Storm -9 and 150 total. No injuries to report unless Cullen decides to rest players
BOL everyone, we have an action packed week ahead of us with only Monday being the rest day until the end of the season.

Was hoping for some small line movement and maybe -7.5 but doesn't look like its going to happen. All my reasons why are stated above. Final game at home, need a win, tough previous schedule (apart from poor game vs Fever) and they need some momentum before playing this last 3 road games against very good teams.

The Storm turned off the gas there and only had a 77-73 lead with about 5 to go. Then finally Hughes decided to put this starters back in with 5 to go and then pulled away but gee, what a different games from the Dream. They nailed 14 three pointers in this game, they were 2-26 from the field in the 1Q of their last match vs Phoenix. Strange to be so hot and cold. They hit 28 buckets today, half were 3's. Just bizarre. But not complaining, Storm played well for around 35 mins of this game and got the win for us.

Nice call Aussie, grabbed some Seattle -4.5 ingame. Surprised I didn't see you on Aus last night in FIBA. Looks like they cruised to an easy cover. GL with your bets
Got any vaseline for my ingame under 166.5? Hope both those teams of dumbass dykes choke on a plastic vaagina.
It's nice to have a president with balls and a first lady without them.

Thanks Hash-Toker. It was a lot more difficult than the final result in the Aussie game. They were cruising, up by 12 at the half and then allowed an 18-5 run and the Canadians took over the lead but then the Aussies fought back hard and don't think the final score reflects the game too well. Was a lot closer than that.

The Mystics need to still win games to claim top spot, they should do that as they play Liberty, Sky and Wings this week.
The Sun are one win away from claiming a top 2 seed spot because the Aces cannot catch them and the Sun would need to lose all their games and the Sparks win all theirs which I don't think will happen. The Sun play Wings, Sky and Fever this week.
Aces in 3rd spot, they can still drop as far as 5th spot if they lose their last 2 games an the Sky and Sparks win theirs. Aces have the Dream and Mercury this week.
Sparks can get as high as 2nd spot if the Sun lose all their games and Sparks win all theirs. They can go as low as 6th if they lose all their games. The Sparks play Dream, Storm and Lynx this final week.
Sky can get as high as 3rd, as low as 6th, so they have cemented at least a home final in the first round if they finish 5th or 6th. They play Sun and Mystics this week
Lynx are 6th with 2 games to go, they can finish no higher than 5th, but they can go as low as 8th if they lose their last 2 games and Storm and Mercury win. The Lynx play Mercury and the Sparks, both on the road.
Storm are 7th, with 3 games to go. They can get as high as 5th if other teams above them lose and they win their last 3 games. They can also finish 8th. They however finish with 3 road games against Mercury, Sparks and Wings.
Mercury 8th, with 3 games to go and they can finish as high as 6th and obviously low as 8th. They need to beat Minny and the Storm when they both visit Phoenix this week. They would also need the Storm to lose a few which is possible. Mercury play Storm, Lynx and the Aces this week, so those matches are huge for Phoenix if they want a home elimination games in the first round.
