Like it when the card isn't so big and we only have a couple of games to look into. Just my thoughts as per usual.
Mercury @ Shock
Mercury were atrocious on Sunday vs the Fever. And now we get them -4 on the road vs a Shock team that I hope have turned a small corner after their impressive win vs the Liberty. Shock start this game at home and have a few more at home after this game where the Mercury head back home for an inform Sparks team and a falling apart Lynx team. I think the Shock might just "Shock" the Mercury because last time these 2 teams met was in Phoenix and the line was +8 Shock and they covered that game after losing by 3 in OT. The game previous to that the Shock were rolling at home vs the Mercury until a sudden 2H collapse which the Mercury took over and went on a 19-5 run in the 4Q to win and cover the spread which I think was around -3 as well. Lean the Shock in this game as there is plenty on the line for Tulsa as the Sparks are getting closer and closer to them in the West for that 3rd seed.
Fever @ Sparks
Fever have some injury concerns. Larkins is questionable for this game and Johnson is probable. Sparks flying high and needing to keep winning if they want to at least get 3rd seed. The Sparks head to Mercury after this game and the Fever head off to Storm. The East is so compacted right now with every win for an East team making the seedings in the East change. Gotta say I lean the Sparks in this game as their defense was solid last game vs the Sky and seeing that they head off to face the Mercury after this game, a win here is crucial. A win for the Fever is also very crucial but I think its a letdown spot after their awesome game vs the Mercury.
