Round 3 of the 2023 British Open is now in the books, and the course continues to play extraordinarily difficult as the bunkers, out-of-bounds stakes and swirling winds made this links track an absolute beast. However, there is one guy who seems to not be fazed by any of this: Brian Harman.
Currently, Harman holds a commanding five-stroke lead over the rest of the field at 12-under. This may all sound very familiar to yesterday’s Round 3 preview, as nothing has changed except for the fact that Harman now has bigger names chasing him in Cameron Young and Jon Rahm.
We should expect another tough round on Sunday. Be sure to check out all our British Open props on Covers and follow me on Twitter for more British Open picks and predictions throughout the week.

Best 2023 Open Championship Round 4 picks
Tom Kim Top-10 finish (+190)
While the tournament is likely over from the winning perspective, there is still one last good finishing position bet to make. Entering the final round, Tom Kim is T11 at 3-under.
We are going to target him to just move up one spot and finish T10 or better at +190 via DraftKings (deadheat rules apply, which is why we are catching this number). After a tough 74 to begin the tournament, Kim fired back-to-back 68s to propel himself up the leaderboard.
It is more likely than not that Kim’s fourth round goes more similarly to the middle-two than the first, which means he would likely stay around this spot on the leaderboard at a minimum. Kim is coming off a strong sixth-place finish at last week’s Genesis Scottish Open, a performance that marked his second Top 10 finish over his previous four tournaments.
He continues to improve as one of golf’s potential next great stars, boasting two professional wins at just 21-years-old. Major championship performance has been the most impressive aspect of his quick development, finishing T8 at the U.S. Open, T16 at the Masters and 23rd at last year’s U.S. Open.
Another strong finish appears to be in the cards for Kim, who showed last week that he is more than capable of handling himself on a UK links course. His putter has been the weapon in his bag this week, ranking second among the field in strokes gained putting.
That is an essential metric to gauge performance this week, given how difficult this course plays off the tee and tee to green. So, can Kim keep dropping those putts on Sunday?
I believe so, considering his putter’s recent form. Kim gained 1.08 strokes putting at the Genesis Scottish Open and 0.92 strokes putting at the U.S. Open, his two latest Top 10 finishes.
Best odds: Tom Kim Top-10 finish (+190 at DraftKings – 0.5 units)
