Stop me if you've heard this before: this week's betting favorite is Scottie Scheffler (+320 to +350). The World No. 1 has won the API twice in his career and enters this year's edition as the defending champ after winning by five shots a season ago.
As is almost always the case, Rory McIlroy (+800 to +850) is running second on the board. Rory won here in 2018 and has finished worse than T13 just twice in 10 career tries at Bay Hill. He's also won as recently as the Pebble Beach Pro-Am in early February.
Ludvig Aberg (+1200 to +1400) is third after a big-time victory at The Genesis Invitational last time out, where he fended off the likes of Scheffler, Patrick Cantlay, and Tony Finau.
Xander Schauffele (+1600 to +1800) is next on the board in what will be his return from a rib injury suffered in the offseason. This will be his first start since The Sentry in early January.
Collin Morikawa rounds out the Top 5 at 20/1 despite missing the cut at Bay Hill each of the last two years.
