FedEx St. Jude Championship odds update

Written 10:30 a.m. ET on Wednesday, August 14.

The Top 5 on the odds board have gone unchanged since Monday morning, with Scottie Scheffler still fetching short +330 odds and Xander the No. 2 option at +800.

We have seen Collin Morikawa's odds shorten to +1,200 since Monday. Ludvig Aberg is much further back in fifth as a result, with odds as short as +1,800 but as long as +2,200.

FedEx St. Jude Championship field

Scottie Scheffler's latest notch in the belt came at the Olympics in what was his seventh win in 12 events dating back to March. His odds are once again in the +350 range despite not playing particularly well here at TPC Southwind (T31, MC, T43 last three starts).

Xander Schauffele is running second on the board at +800 and is very clearly the second-best player in this field after snagging two of the last three major championships. He even had a chance to win a second golf medal in Paris but fell flat on Sunday. He finished T24 here a season ago but that was also a career-best.

Third on the board is Rory McIlroy, just below Xander in the 9/1 range. He bounced back from a missed cut at Royal Troon with a T5 in Paris. He worked his way up the leaderboard and had a chance to win before splashing one late on Sunday and falling back. He finished T3 in Memphis last season.

Collin Morikawa (+1,400) and Ludvig Aberg (+1,600) round out the Top 5 and both are playing well at the minute. Aberg will be making his TPC Southwind debut, unlike Morikawa who's had success here (T13, T5 finishes last two years).

Defending champion Lucas Glover is not in the field after finishing 77th in the standings. 2022 champ Will Zalatoris is in the field after finishing 49th; he's available as long as 100/1.
