Controversial career
Brown played 12 seasons in the NFL, mostly with the Pittsburgh Steelers. He won a Super Bowl with legendary quarterback Tom Brady in Tampa Bay in 2020. Brown was named to the NFL’s All-Pro first team four times and the second team once. He twice led the league in receptions and yards and once in touchdowns.
Brown faced discipline from teams and the NFL several times in his career for on- and off-the-field violations. He famously walked off the field against the New York Jets when he was with the Buccaneers.
