BetMGM has announced the launch of its first Original Bets Sweepstakes for the 2024 Emirates NBA Cup. And one lucky winner could be heading to Vegas to see all the action of the semifinal and championship games live (alongside plenty of other perks).
As authorized gaming operator of the NBA, the market-leading iGaming and sports betting operator is now offering players the chance to win the once-in-a-lifetime prize.
To be in with a chance, players need to wager at least $10 on BetMGM's NBA Cup Original Bets between Nov. 21 and Nov. 29. Each bet over the $10 threshold counts as one entry to the contest.
The winner will be treated to what BetMGM is calling “the ultimate Las Vegas sports vacation.” The company will fly its winner to Vegas for a five-night stay at the MGM Grand. During their stay, the lucky player will be presented with tickets to semifinal and championship games, complete with on-court photo opportunities.
The competition winner will also receive $2,500 in BetMGM Rewards Points. The points work in a similar way to currency at BetMGM resorts, and can be spent on a range of experiences in the company’s hotels and casinos.
“With the Emirates NBA Cup championship returning to our backyard in Las Vegas, it is important for us to create an experience only possible through BetMGM,” said Matt Prevost, chief revenue officer of BetMGM.
“This promotion allows guests to explore NBA Original Bets and benefit from our unique connection to MGM Resorts destinations that are a short walk from T-Mobile Arena."
NBA Cup odds have the New York Knicks favored to win the tournament.
It’s worth noting, however, that players do need to opt-in to the competition. This can be done in just a couple of clicks, via the homepage and promotions pages of the BetMGM mobile app. The promotion is not available to players in Nevada, New York, Ontario, or Puerto Rico.
BetMGM also has a range of other promotions which will be on offer throughout the 2024-25 NBA season. The sportsbook’s free-to-play Fast Break game is also currently running, offering players daily chances to win rewards including parlay boost tokens, odds boost tokens, SGP boost tokens, bonus spins (in eligible casino states) and bonus bets.
