Betr is adding internet phenom Haliey “Hawk Tuah” Welch to its podcast lineup.

The social media sensation will be launching a new weekly podcast, “Talk Tuah,' on Sept. 10. She joins Betr’s growing podcast lineup that includes Jake Paul’s “BS,” Hanna and Haley Cavinder’s “Twin Talk,” Bo Nickal’s “Nickals and Dimes,” and “Caps Off” with Adam Tabatchnick and Jack Parodi.

Welch’s first guest will be comedian Whitney Cummings. Betr co-founder Jake Paul and Josh Richards are scheduled for her second episode.

Launching just two years ago, Betr Media, a leading sports gaming and media company, has more than 7.3 million followers, four billion impressions, and 209 million engagements across its social channels. The addition of Welch is consistent with Betr’s eclectic brand and growth strategy.

“This is a major addition to the Betr Media family as we continue to strategically differentiate ourselves in the market, said Mike Denevi, head of media at Betr. “Haliey Welch is a bona fide superstar, and her charisma, unique perspective, and innate connection with her audience maker her the perfect fit for our platform.”

Origin story

In July, a decidedly “not safe for work” street interview with Welch went viral. (We’ll let you discover the specifics on your own, in a non-work environment) Since then, Welch has parlayed her meme fame into a full-fledged brand.

Quitting her job at a mattress spring factory, she has since partnered with an apparel company, was a guest on Bill Maher’s podcast “Club Random,” and appeared on Cummings' podcast “Good for You.”

With appearance fees now approaching the mid-five figures, Welch has been making the rounds. She even threw out the ceremonial first pitch at the Aug. 15 New York Mets game, much to the chagrin of many baseball fans.

Likewise, poker players weren’t unilaterally thrilled that Welch was chosen to play in the Celebrity Poker Tour last month. But she didn’t let that keep her from having fun.

Welch understands the easy criticisms. She gets it. In fact, she named her newfound company 16 Minutes, riffing on the quote attributed to Andy Warhol: “In the future, everyone will be world-famous for 15 minutes." And while she gets the joke, Betr gets her.

“Y’all keep asking ‘What’s next?’ Well this is it,” she said of the partnership with Betr. “I’m so thankful to have my own podcast where you’ll discover the real Haliey Welch. I’m delighted to join the team at Betr who fully gets me. ... My show will have a little of everything – great guests, laughs, chit chats about your pets, relationship pointers, sports, and of course, some down home southern charm.”
