Longtime New York broadcaster Mike Francesa will continue working with BetRivers, as the two sides announced on Wednesday that they have renewed their multimedia partnership.
Francesa has been a mainstay in sports commentary, celebrated for breaking some of the top sports stories of recent years — and of course, sharing instant (and often highly memorable) game reactions. Perhaps most famous for his radio show Mike and the Mad Dog, which launched back in 1989, Francesa has gone on to voice some of the country’s best-known radio shows and podcasts.
Francesa’s latest show, “The Mike Francesa Podcast,” has 26.7K subscribers on YouTube, with no less than 164 episodes available to listen to right now. The continuation of Francesa’s long-standing partnership with BetRivers will see the broadcaster’s reach (and that of BetRivers) expand even further.
We can expect a new daily show on YouTube and the production of a new digital video series, to be featured on the BetRivers platform. Francesa’s commentary will also be available via Spotify and Apple Podcasts.
In addition to the production of what promises to be a hugely entertaining and engaging series of digital content, Mike Francesa is set to appear in person at select events. Francesa will meet BetRivers customers in personal appearances up and down the East Coast.
"I'm thrilled to continue my partnership with BetRivers, which in my opinion offers the best online sportsbook in the industry," said Francesa. "Joining forces with the RSI team enables me to connect with fans in exciting and easily accessible ways while providing my insight and instant reaction to the biggest games to audiences not only in New York but across BetRivers markets nationwide."
Richard Schwartz, CEO of RSI, the parent company of BetRivers, also celebrated Francesa's decision to renew the partnership.
"We are delighted to have Mike Francesa, the undisputed 'King of New York' radio, renew his partnership with our BetRivers family of Brand Ambassadors. Our BetRivers audience will now be able to see and hear Mike every weekday!"
