Thursday Night Football's low-scoring affair between the Los Angeles Rams and San Francisco 49ers was a tough watch for most fans, but not all.

For the select few that read the weather report and had the foresight to put a wager on no player scoring a touchdown in the Week 15 opener, it was a night to celebrate.

The Rams pulled out a pivotal 12-6 victory on the back of four field goals in rainy conditions. The Niners added two field goals, and no player reached the end zone.

No touchdown scorer bets were priced anywhere between +8,500 and +40,000 at various sportsbooks.

Soon after the game went final, BetMGM shared that one bettor placed $25 on no touchdown to be scored at +20,000 odds.

A DraftKings bettor turned $100 into $18,000 with the no touchdown scorer prediction.

Circa Sports director of operations Jeffrey Benson shared the amount bet on no touchdown at his sportsbook ...

... but was quick to also point out that Circa was happy to make the trade off to see all anytime touchdown bets miss.

However, the book offering the longest odds might have been the SuperBook in Nevada.

The lesson here is to always watch the weather forecast and thank your local meterorologist.
