Caesars Entertainment, one of the world's biggest iGaming and sportsbook operators, won the Casino Operator of the Year award at the 2024 EGR North America Awards event in New York City on June 27.

Caesars Entertainment is the first new winner of the award since 2020 (BetMGM earned consecutive wins in 2022 and 2023).

Caesars Digital previously launched Caesars Palace Online Casino last summer, with extensive upgrades made to its mobile casino app in April 2024  Integral updates to Caesars Palace Online Casino include a multi-lobby navigational layout, offering curated lobbies like Live Dealer and slots.

“I am thrilled to be able to share that Caesars Entertainment won Casino Operator of the Year at the EGR North America Awards,” said Matthew Sunderland, SVP & Chief iGaming Officer at Caesars Digital. “I could not be more proud of our iGaming team, and this is a validation of all their dedication and hard work. Caesars Palace Online Casino has surpassed all our expectations so far, and we are just getting started.”

Expansions in 2024

Caesars Entertainment partnered with Laguna Development Corporation (LDC) to launch several retail sportsbook locations in New Mexico in May.

Before that move, Caesars Entertainment launched Caesars NHL Blackjack during the 2024 Stanley Cup Playoffs, expanding its selection of iGaming products. Caesars NHL Blackjack became available to play under the Live Dealer lobby available via Caesars Digital. The partnership also featured Caesars Entertainment's lock-up logo and partnership designation with the NHL on every Caesars Digital iGaming platform.

Caesars Digital also launched a new slot game, Caesars Palace Frenzy, in April through a partnership with Games Global.
