Blackhawks jerseys will have a minor cosmetic change when the puck drops at Chicago's next home game.

Circa Sports, an American sportsbook operator headquartered in Las Vegas, has entered a multi-year partnership agreement with the Blackhawks to be the official jersey patch sponsor for the team's home red jerseys starting in the 2024-25 season.

With this deal, Circa Sports is set to be the first partner ever featured on a Blackhawks game jersey. The sportsbook previously partnered with the Vegas Golden Knights as a home jersey patch sponsor during the 2022-23 NHL season, ending with the Golden Knights winning the Stanley Cup.

“Sports betting has continued to grow in popularity among our fans and offered new ways for them to engage with our game," said Blackhawks president of business operations Jamie Faulkner in a statement. "We couldn’t be prouder to be adding Circa Sports to the Chicago Blackhawks roster of partners as they share in our goals to grow interest in our game and offer fans exciting and original experiences.”

The jersey patch will debut at the 2024 Upper Deck NHL Draft event later this week.

“Growing up as a hockey fan, I’m overwhelmed with the opportunity, and the responsibility, that goes along with partnering with an Original Six team and a team with the most iconic jersey in sports.” said Circa Sports CEO Derek Stevens. “We are ecstatic to showcase the new Blackhawks jersey with such a young and exciting team.”

Circa Sports expansion

While headquartered in Las Vegas, Circa Sports has been licensed to operate in Illinois since April 2023. Its Illinois mobile app launched on September 29, while simultaneously opening a retail sportsbook location at the American Place Casino in Waukegan, Illinois.

Circa’s entry into Illinois made it the eighth online sportsbook operator to join the Land of Lincoln. It's also available in Nevada, Colorado, Kentucky, and Iowa.

Circa runs six Nevada retail sportsbooks, most notably, at Circa Resort & Casino on the Vegas strip. In April, the company expanded into Kentucky with its online sportsbook platform via the Cumberland Run harness track and the Mint Gaming Hall.
