A Garden State player won a Hard Rock Bet jackpot worth $518,438.93, starting the new year off on a high. The lucky bettor placed a $1.50 spin on the IGT game MegaJackpots Elephant King and hit the jackpot, resulting in a nice half-a-million payday. This jackpot also set the bar for the largest one in New Jersey in 2025.
With only a couple of weeks into the new year, can another lucky New Jersey player beat this recent record?
Record after record for Hard Rock Bet New Jersey
Entering the list of largest jackpots in New Jersey, this particular Hard Rock Bet payout is special. It's the largest jackpot win from a $1 spin since April 2023, where a New Jersey player earned a $524,455.55 payout on MegaJackpots Cleopatra.
In addition, Hard Rock Bet’s New Jersey platform hit 2,500 games last week. Since it launched in the Garden State in 2023 with a platform of 705 games, it's consistently risen each month, introducing over 100 new titles up until hitting the 2,500 threshold in the new year.
“This is an incredible milestone for our players as we continue to add more entertainment options on our top rated app,” said Grant Williams, Hard Rock Digital’s Senior Vice President of Casino. “It’s not just more games, it’s a commitment by our team to building the best experience in the market. We’re engaging our players like never before with promotions, personalization, rewards, and exclusive gaming experiences from top providers that you can’t find anywhere else.”
Hard Rock Bet introduces jai-alai to sportsbooks
In recent news, Hard Rock Bet announced earlier this week that it added the world’s fastest ball sport to its sportsbooks ahead of the winter 2025 World Jai-Alai League (WJAL).
Florida fans of the sport will access the WJAL on Hard Rock Bet platforms, giving users live betting and streaming options including the 2025 Battle Court Winter season.
“The start of a new season is always exhilarating and the addition of wagering on Hard Rock Bet only adds to the sentiment that Winter 2025 will be our best season yet,” said Scott Savin, Chief Operating Officer of the World Jai-Alai League. “We’re excited to bring fans unparalleled action and engagement, both on and off the court.”
This result came from the end of a lengthy legal battle between the Seminole Tribe and West Flagler Associates, who issued a lawsuit against Hard Rock sportsbook in 2021. The legal battle between the two operators lasted a couple years, finally resolved in October 2024 with the condition of Hard Rock Bet adding jai-alai to its platforms.
